In an electric matchup featuring now top ranked Andrew Jackson (9-0) vs Ribault (5-3), there were many fireworks and exciting moments during this game. With a final OT score of 82-81, the crowd was abundant, and the energy was unmatched. Let's look at the top performers!

[player_tooltip player_id='1633120' first='Javion' last='Davis'], 6'1, Sr. G (Andrew Jackson)

Javion had himself a night, scoring a game-high 29 points in a high scoring game for the Tigers. He started out the game getting downhill and making his presence felt early and that certainly carried over throughout the night. The one attribute about his game that stands out the most is finishing abilities. With his long frame, he's a tough guard for a PG to matchup against and his skillset makes him dangerous, with or without the ball. He certainly impressed me, solidifying himself as a top guard in the area.

Donald Hackworth, 6'8, Sr. C (Andrew Jackson)

The big man put on an impressive showing in this game, scoring 20 major points for his squad. Each time the game became close, Donald would let the threes fly from deep from the top of the key, often barely touching the net. However, that wasn't his only contribution as he had a game high, 9 rebounds in the game. He was a force on the boards and the main reason for a lot of the Tigers' second chance points in the paint. While I do believe with his size and skillset he can take his game to even greater heights, he certainly will be an intriguing prospect for many schools looking for a versatile big.

[player_tooltip player_id='2522723' first='King' last='Sanders'], 6'3, Sr. G (Andrew Jackson)

King had a nice showing during this game, scoring 12 points but his impact was mainly felt in other areas of the game. From timely rebounds to key steals, King has a fluidity to his game that, if polished, he could find himself in some great company during his collegiate playing days. He's a three-level scorer with great touch and a nice handle but he also gets after it on the defensive end as well. He missed some easy ones that you could tell he normally would make but as with any scorer, they will have those nights. As he continues playing this year, I wouldn't be surprised if he had himself a breakout night going for 20+ as he's just that skillful as a player.

[player_tooltip player_id='1633138' first='Zion' last='Hall'], 6'4, Sr. G/F (Ribault)

If you need a bucket, this is your guy. Plain and simple. Zion scored 18 in this game, but it felt like 28. He was scoring from all areas of the court, with most of his shots coming from iso's. With his stout frame, Zion uses his leverage well against defenders, especially in the post, creating space and/or shooting over the top. I expect nothing less from him as he finishes his high school career, in hopes of seeing him on someone's roster come the 2026-2027 college basketball season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2398850' first='Ian' last='Beaufort'], 6'4, Jr. G/F (Ribault)

Matching the scoring output from his teammate above, Ian came alive in the second half of this game. From clutch threes to game-deciding steals, Ian, in large part, was one of the biggest reasons why Ribault was able to keep the game close. I was very impressed with his poise down the stretch. Never seemed too up or too down, just even kill. Ian became a fan favorite this game as the crowd was screaming his name and cheering him on for his dominance and he certainly gained a fan in me as well. Well done, Ian!
