Six Prospects to Know From Southport Versus Bloomington North

Conference Indiana play got underway with a battle between Southport and Bloomington North. Southport led 17-16 at the half, but then this senior guard picked up the scoring with a trio of triples and 13 total points in the third quarter alone. He finished with a game-high 20 points for the Cardinals. Bravard is an athletic driver with enough game off of the dribble to get separation in one-on-one situations. The 6'3" undersized forward did a great job of holding his own defensively against Kalala and was a big part of holding him to single-digits. Offensively, Bridgwaters does a great job of operating around the basket and has impressive footwork. Cross Jr. was a big part of Bloomington North's near comeback in the fourth quarter. He scored 10 of his 13 points in the final quarter as the Cougars cut their deficit from 17 all of the way down to 4. The unsigned senior came in averaging 13.6 rebounds per game and he finished with 9 points and 13 rebounds as Southport defeated Bloomington North 52-44.
