Garner has moved up in the rankings because he has officially turned into a problem. Watching players compete and effect the game is a part of playing time and steady growth, but very few make it to a point when they are a problem. There is a select few number of players that just can't be stopped when they are in "that mode". Garner took control of their game vs Calvary and was unstoppable. His three-level scoring ability is second to none. His three-point shot is consistent when he takes it and getting downhill he is unstoppable. Pick your poison with Garner. One flex about Louisiana basketball is that all of our Top 6 guys are a problem in any gym in any state. Garner is a problem.

Williams moved into the starting line up this weekend and immediately established that he was a specialist. The kid is a shooter, and I know that he has been featured before, but this time he went to somebody else gym and almost shot the lights out. He has an unorthodox stroke, but it is potent and effective. Williams has great on court energy and whether he is making those long shots or not, he is going to effect the game. Rebounding, communicating and most of all shooting. His contributions could make Huntington a dangerous team, especially come playoff time.

TJ is what coaches look for at the next level and his potential is clear. In a PG college coaches look for 1. High IQ 2. Defensive Intensity 3. Production through facilitating, and 4. High percentage shooters. Can you knock down the open shot? The kid does all of those things and makes it look easy. He can control the game with the ball in his hands and decide who will score and how he wants them to score. He plays the game with poise and confidence and shoots the ball with ease. His role is to facilitate, and he does it with clear intention. Kudos to the Freshman for his stellar skill and mental toughness because he is in the fire with this tough Madison Prep schedule.

Khali Celestine is a hybrid player that sits between the 2 and the three spot. He has the skills to play the two, but the size to compete at the 3 position. He is long with an extended wingspan and has a job and that is to knock down shots. He is a trusted three-point shooter, and his basketball mentality is to compete. Celestine is a volume shooter and if he catches fire watch out. He can keep it going. He rebounds well and is an active defender which is another attribute that could earn him an opportunity to compete at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1639715' first='Michael' last='Ducre'] is a tough competitor known for his ability to score the ball. In a match up vs Zachary even though his team struggled shooting the ball, he still finished the game with 14 points and countless assists and rebounds with limited turnovers. Ducre has elite size which aids him in finishing through contact, defending bigger players and rebounding. When you see him, he is just a big kid that you can easily see has spent his time in the weight room. Micheal checks all the boxes for next level competition and will play college basketball and excel at the next level.
