<p>It's Championship Day at the PSC Holiday Classic, a staple of holiday tournaments in Southwest Indiana. The eight team tournament started on Saturday split at two locations: Tell City High School and Heritage Hills High School. The Championship Day was held at Heritage Hills High School consisting of four game. 7th Place Game between Tell City and South Spencer. 5th Place Game between Evansville Christian and Crawford County. 3rd Place game between Boonville and Perry Central. With the Championship Game between Corydon Central and Heritage Hills. Here is a recap of all games from the PSC Holiday Classic:</p>

<p><strong>7th Place Game: Tell City vs South Spencer</strong></p>

<p>From the opening tip to the final buzzer, the South Spencer Rebels controlled the 7th Place Game against Tell City behind the Senior backcourt duo of [player_tooltip player_id='2989713' first='Ashton' last='Rhoades'] and Ethan Fuqua. Fuqua started off hot getting the Rebels the lead from outside the arc while Rhoades came on as the game went along. Rhoades led all scorers with 21 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 5 steals followed by Fuqua with 17 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists as the Rebels defeated Tell City 90-62 in the 7th Place Game of the PSC Holiday Classic. Tell City was led by Junior Guard Riley Leinenbach with 14 points and 5 rebounds in the loss.</p>

<p><strong>5th Place Game: Crawford County vs Evansville Christian</strong></p>

<p>A back and forth game with both teams making runs, the stars came to play for both teams. [player_tooltip player_id='3276225' first='Hunter' last='Redd'], a 5'11” Senior Guard was blazing hot from the floor all game long not only being the game high scorer with 27 points and 5 rebounds, but leading Evansville Christian to a 62-58 over Crawford County, despite the efforts from Sophomore Guard [player_tooltip player_id='2538843' first='Braxton' last='Bowman'] for the Wolfpack finishing with 26 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. Crawford County just couldn't string enough stops with buckets down the stretch. Evansville Christian Guard Michael Ragland was the perfect sidekick for Redd finishing with 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists in the win.</p>

<p><strong>3rd Place Game: Perry</strong> <strong>Central vs Boonville</strong></p>

<p>From the opening tip to the final buzzer, the now 9-1 Pioneers controlled the game starting on the defensive end. The Pioneers suffocating defense helped them jump out to a 27-5 1st Quarter lead and never looked back as they defeated Perry Central in running clock fashion 76-40. Junior Guard [player_tooltip player_id='2140326' first='Bradyn' last='Egli'] led the way for the Pioneers with 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals. Seniors Charlie Campbell and Logan Strahle also in double figures with 12 points each.</p>

<p><strong>Championship Game: Corydon Central vs Heritage Hills</strong></p>

<p>In a competitive back and forth game that never established much rhythm, it was a game between two talented teams that both had to withstand runs from the other team. Heritage Hills made their run late in the first half behind the strong play from Senior duo [player_tooltip player_id='1560979' first='Peyton' last='Gray'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1560951' first='Jake' last='Prior']. Prior was able to get free for two consecutive threes to end the first half as the Patriots led 21-18 at the break. Another quick four points to start the second half to extend their lead to seven. From then on, Corydon Central dug in and stayed around behind 6'4” Senior W [player_tooltip player_id='2813526' first='Jack' last='Fessel']. Fessel led all scorers with 19 points and 6 rebounds as the Panthers hit their free throws down the stretch to defeat Heritage Hills 59-52 to win the PSC Holiday Classic. 6'2” Senior Guard Devin Murphy hit big time shots for the Panthers as they made their run hitting three three-point shots finishing with 12 points. Junior Guard Grant Lindeman was 8-8 from the free throw line finishing with 14 points for the Panthers. [player_tooltip player_id='1560979' first='Peyton' last='Gray'] led Heritage Hills with 17 points and 7 rebounds. The multi-sport athlete for the Patriots is finally finding his basketball legs. 6'6” Senior Wing [player_tooltip player_id='1560951' first='Jake' last='Prior'] had a complete game finishing with 12 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 blocks despite struggling from deep.</p>
