The 20th Annual PSC Holiday Classic has come and gone. Championship Day hosted at Heritage Hills High School had several memorable performances. Here are the Standout Performers from the PSC Holiday Classic Championship Day:

South Spencer

[player_tooltip player_id='2989713' first='Ashton' last='Rhoades']: The 6'2” Senior Guard/Wing from South Spencer is a smooth operator on the offensive side of the ball. Three-level scorer that can create his own looks while also playing the role of distributor. He's a good shooter that doesn't fall in love with the perimeter shot. Hes an aggressive driver that can go both ways. He does a good job staying on balance on his drives. Defensively he's active with his hands. He's versatile with the ability to guard multiple spots on the floor. He has great timing on his attempts to tip passes or live dribbles away from the offense. He's a high IQ player that stays out of foul trouble.

Stats: 21 points | 4 rebounds | 2 assists | 5 steals

[player_tooltip player_id='3277009' first='Ethan' last='Fuqua']: Physical guard that can play on or off the ball. In South Spencer's win over Tell City, Fuqua got hot in a hurry from the outside shooting with deep range and a quick trigger. He's a crafty ball handler that is deceptively quick and uses change of pace really well to get to his spots where he makes the right reads.

Stats: 17 points | 3 rebounds | 4 assists

Crawford County

[player_tooltip player_id='2538843' first='Braxton' last='Bowman']: Potentially the best prospect at the PSC Holiday Classic, the 6'0” Sophomore Guard out of Crawford County is mature beyond his years. Despite a bit of an off shooting game, he stayed aggressive and as able to get to any spot on the floor. With his ability to play both guard positions, he continuously got down here and was unselfish in the process looking to make the right play. Defensively he was hampered with foul trouble early on, but he's a high IQ guard that can play through foul trouble while still maintaining the same level of aggressiveness and intensity.

Stats: 26 points | 4 rebounds | 4 assists

Evansville Christian

[player_tooltip player_id='3276225' first='Hunter' last='Redd']: Shifty 5'11” Senior Guard from Evansville Christian had his offense going early and often in the Eagles win over Crawford County. Confident three-point shooter that is always on balance and elevates into his jumper. Didn't have any problems getting to his spot on the floor. He plays more physical than he looks. He was able to play through contact and finish in the lane getting all the way to the basket or was really good stopping and rising up over defenders in the midrange.

Stats: 27 points | 5 rebounds

[player_tooltip player_id='3278417' first='Michael' last='Ragland']: This was my first time seeing Ragland play, the 6'1” Junior Guard was really impressive with the way he carries himself. Capable of playing on or off the ball. He plays with poise and doesn't force anything on the offensive end. Talented shooter off the catch that shoots a smooth ball but is really dynamic when he gets downhill. He does a really good job staying on balance and finishes well through contact at the basket. Defensively he's a hard nosed guard that always seemed to be in the right spot.

Stats: 15 points | 6 rebounds | 3 assists

Boonville

[player_tooltip player_id='2140326' first='Bradyn' last='Egli']: The dynamic Junior Guard from Boonville came off the bench and was instant offense. Combo guard that thrives in transition. Quick twitch athlete that uses change of pace really well. Really good shooter off the catch. Doesn't fall in love with the three. Really crafty snaking his way into the lane where he plays with his head up and looks to score but makes the right play to pass it off to open teammates. Difference maker on the defensive end with his active hands and quickness. He has the ability to really open games up by turning defense into offense in a hurry.

Stats: 16 points off the bench

[player_tooltip player_id='2140389' first='Jaxon' last='McKain']: The engine that really runs the Boonville offense. The versatile 6'4” Wing/Forward does a little bit of everything on the court. High motor on both ends of the floor. Really good rebounder that can push in transition off defensive misses and has shown he can make the right decision. He's a physical downhill driver that if he gets you in his hip you're at his mercy. Really good court vision with his height, he can see over the defense and make any pass on the floor. The jump shot is a weakness of his, but he doesn't force it.

Stats: 6 points | 8 rebounds | 5 assists

Heritage Hills

[player_tooltip player_id='1560979' first='Peyton' last='Gray']: The senior multi-sport athlete is finally getting his basketball legs under him and was extremely productive in the Patriots Championship loss to Corydon Central. Strong, physical guard that was getting to any spot on the floor in the second half. He does a good job creating contact on his drives and stays on balance where he can finish in a variety of different ways. He's able to impact the game on both ends of the floor with his rebounding ability at his position. From there he can push in transition to find open shooters or get all the way to the basket.

Stats: 17 points | 7 rebounds

[player_tooltip player_id='1560951' first='Jake' last='Prior']: Lengthy Senior Wing that is a good shooter, but struggled from the perimeter last night. In years past, if his jump shot wasn't falling, then Prior wasn't impactful in other areas, but this season he's had a really good overall year filling the stat sheet in multiple areas, not just scoring. He continues to get better off the dribble. With his size, he's really good in the midrange being able to rise over the top of defenders. The motor continues to improve and it shows on both sides of the ball where he flirts with double digit rebounds virtually every game.

Stats: 12 points | 9 rebounds | 3 blocks

Crawford County

[player_tooltip player_id='2813526' first='Jack' last='Fessel']: Fessel was the best player on the floor in the PSC Holiday Classic Championship Game. Capable three-point shooter, but impacts the game all over the floor getting downhill where he can finish in crafty ways. More of a play finisher at this point, he's an athletic wing that plays above the rim in transition. Defensively he can guard multiple positions with his size, speed, and athleticism. He plays with a high motor looking to make plays on both ends of the floor.

Stats: 19 points | 6 rebounds

[player_tooltip player_id='2140365' first='Grant' last='Lindemann']: Savvy Junior Guard that had ice in his veins in the 4th Quarter sealing the Panthers win over Heritage Hills in the PSC Holiday Classic Championship Game. Lindemann calmly walked to the free throw line eight times and buried all eight free throws. He's a high IQ guard that balances scoring and distributing well. The ball doesn't stick in his hands. He makes decisive moves and doesn't waste any movement. Tight handle with a quick first step allowed him late in the game to get in the lane and get a couple layups to keep the lead between five and seven points. Even though he didn't make any from the perimeter, he's an on balance shooter with a smooth stroke. Has leadership qualities you want in a point guard. Never gets sped up and takes care of the basketball.
