Decatur MacArthur's [player_tooltip player_id='2323268' first='Tishawn' last='Clemmons'] (#1) contributed not only with points throughout the tournament. He was also the best playmaker on the court. He had great chemistry with his teammates. He also had an excellent IQ. He often handed the ball off to his guards and created space for open shots. Defensively, Clemmons uses his size, speed, and athleticism to his advantage, poking the ball loose and creating turnovers.

Shooting Guard

Decatur MacArthur's [player_tooltip player_id='2890389' first='Khymir' last='Carson'] (#4) was undoubtedly the most impactful shooting guard in the tournament. The chemistry between [player_tooltip player_id='2323268' first='Tishawn' last='Clemmons'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2890389' first='Khymir' last='Carson'] was strong. Carson was electrifying behind the three-point line. This duo alone will bury a team in the first half.

Small Forward

Mt. Vernon's [player_tooltip player_id='2334401' first='Cale' last='Maurer'] (#4) is a multi-sport athlete who demonstrates leadership and awareness on the court. He excels at driving to the basket and shooting mid-range shots. Cale also shows flashes of playmaking ability and being a threat from beyond the arc. Standing 6'6” and weighing 210 pounds, he provides a strong defensive presence and rebounding ability. Unfortunately, Cale was incapable of contributing to the championship game.

Power Forward

O'Fallon's [player_tooltip player_id='1501486' first='Ben' last='Akoro'] (#3) makes the All-Star list as the power forward. Ben has a big frame and is listed at 6'7”. Akoro also led the team in points and rebounds in nearly every game during the tournament. The NCAA Division I recruit should work well with Clemmons, Carson, and Maurer. Like Carson and Maurer, he sees the court exceptionally well and can step outside to take a long-range shot.

Center

Belleville East's [player_tooltip player_id='2454160' first='Kameron' last='Eutsey'] (#22) may be seen as somewhat of an underdog. However, the 6'7” senior has been averaging around 10 points per game. He also averages 10 rebounds per game recently. Not bad, considering Eutsey was not on the starting roster. Kameron is still working on his shot. Still, he excels at clearing out defenders. He puts the ball up for an easy two points or finds an outlet.
