Joshua showed himself to be unguardable in isolation. When he would post up, defenders had no answers for his fluid footwork, soft touch, and contact balance around the rim. He was equally hard to stop when it came to driving to the rim. He showcased a solid handle and ability to lead the break and run the offense on the perimeter. The combination of his speed and size made him a matchup nightmare, and he converted many buckets off his drives to the rim, as well as drawing many fouls in the process. Joshua is a shot creator, his passing really stood out to me. Joshua's head is always up and he makes reads at lightning speeds, and delivers passes with crisp accuracy. He was elite at getting downhill, drawing multiple defenders, and whipping passes with one hand to his teammates for open looks. Joshua was very impactful defensively and on the glass. He brought down many boards and blocked shots, while also being a menace on the perimeter for opponents to get by. Overall, Joshua Charlotin has immense potential. His game is way beyond the typical player of his size and age. And this is only the beginning of his development.

[player_tooltip player_id='2420807' first='JJ' last='Seay'] showcased his elite skillset throughout his first contest of the season. JJ was an absolute chore to guard and showed his smooth shot creation abilities. JJ is a deep-range shooter and hit many threes from way outside in this contest. His release off the dribble is especially fast and difficult to contest. And this shooting threat leads to many hard closeouts, which he is adept at attacking, creating advantages, and producing wide-open looks for both him and his team. He had a great proficiency as a mid-range creator as well. His floater was money and he made many tough fadeaways in the midrange look like a piece of cake. His ability to finish through contact rounded out his offensive repertoire. JJ is an extremely physical driver, and is great at using his shoulders and momentum to create space. At the rim he never shies away from contact, and goes straight up into contests where he finishes through defenders rather than around them. JJ locked up defensively as well and made life difficult for opposing guards with his constant ball pressure. Overall, [player_tooltip player_id='2420807' first='JJ' last='Seay'] is a great initiator and leader on the court, who offers a deep skillset and high motor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1736401' first='Emmanuel' last='Tete'] was the definition of a do-it-all point guard in this first game of the season. He was the leader of the South East Polk offense and had a very clean game conducting on the perimeter. He always made the right play and kept the ball moving at all times. His dribbling very much stood out in this game. He was elite at breaking down defenders one on one and getting the ball into the paint. He drew many advantages throughout this game and was a smooth operator in the pick and roll, diming up his teammates. His burst combined with his soft touch at high speeds made him a constant threat around the basket. He converted many layups at the rim through contact, and drew extra defenders because of this threat, leading to more timely passes. He was also especially impactful on the glass, always fighting for position and skying for rebounds, which he brought down consistently. Emmanuel was a dog on defense. He got a bountiful amount of steals and gave opposing ball handlers no breaks, staying in their pockets at all times. Overall, [player_tooltip player_id='1736401' first='Emmanuel' last='Tete'] brings about everything you want your lead guard to provide.

[player_tooltip player_id='1978116' first='Grady' last='Braunschweig-Norris'] was an extremely impactful complement to South East Polk's squad throughout this game. At the rim, Grady was an elite play finisher in this game. He converted many looks off passes from his teammates and made these attempts at a very efficient rate. His vertical athleticism stood out among his peers. Grady got up on two different occasions and dunked on opponents, one of the occasions being through a foul. His springiness made him dominant around the rim and on the glass. He caught rebounds at the apex with his explosiveness throughout this game and gained his team extra possessions. Grady was impactful on the defensive end as well. His strength and motor stood out and he was great at going vertical around the rim and making shots tough for opponents.
