12/12/25: Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2637088' first='Bleu' last='Armour'] played 28 varsity games last winter, averaging 4.3 points per game, 4.4 rebounds per, and 2.0 spg. His biggest freshman games were 15 points against Wartburg Central and 12 points scored on Roane County. As a freshman, Bleu hit 27 three-pointers.

12/12/25: I watched Will Tuesday night too. He is a nice player, probably fringe NAIA in terms of his future hooping. Sutton is gritty and boasts a bit of guard strength. Shooting range is impressive. Guards who can shoot always hold value. His one shortcoming is lack of burst and explosion. Just average athleticism for a Top 200 guy in Tennessee. Steady. Great presence. Communicates with the coach mid-game. Lovely decision-making. If you judge guards by the choices they make below the free throw line, then Will is a very good player.

12/12/25: Cruz did not score until early in the second quarter. It came on a runout after Cosby created a turnover. At the time it gave Cosby High a 14-12 lead over Cocke County. Overall, Cruz was not shooting or taking many shots all night. He did stay involved with the pass, but considering his previous success it was a quiet night for Coggins. Hit a big 3 early in the fourth quarter. Great court vision. He likes to touch the ball on every possession. Frankly, the team is best when he does. Cruz dribbled well with his left hand. He can attack going either way.

12/12/25: [player_tooltip player_id='3220031' first='Ezra' last='Spurgeon'] really shone against Cocke County. Lefty. Looks like he could get to 6'5". Maybe. Plays baseball too. Good body control for a tall sophomore and I think he can eventually play SF/SG. For a 1A kid he is gonna be really good. Handles like a guard. Last spring Ezra earned All-Region. His biggest weakness at this stage of development appears to be free throw shooting. He was terrible at the stripe Friday night. Ezra's body control is what makes him so impressive. He caught an outlet pass running full speed twisting behind him and landed in stride, finishing an acrobatic and challenged layup in the fourth quarter.

12/12/25: Young, modestly nimble. Zachary will be an important piece for Cocke County throughout his career. Right now, his contributions come and go. He is not a consistent contributor. Shooting touch is nice. Takes a little while to get the shot off. Thin, but not weak.

The pass of the night! Clinton G [player_tooltip player_id='2402979' first='Camden' last='Nelson'] delivered a bounce pass ahead of streaking Tristian Lundy, who caught the dime and made a critical layup for the Dragons' self-esteem. 38-35 Oak Ridge leads. Clinton needed that in the worst way. Starting 4Q. - @PrepHoopsTN
