This week is full of great games and player matchups. Let's start by saying that the Corner Canyon Tournament of Champions gets better and better every year as new teams join and teams from out of state make it interesting.

Judge Memorial vs. Brighton

Judge is currently 0-2 with two tough losses, but they have a good team and players ready to compete against anyone, anywhere. Judge will need consistent play from [player_tooltip player_id='1438933' first='AJ' last='Peek'], as he has the size, strength, and mobility to defend anyone. Kalou Ruot has been clutch for Judge as an inside presence that could help free up shooters, as he demands a double team. The 6'6 prospect in the Class of 2028 is a player on the rise.

Brighton is currently 2-1, trying to find its footing, but the next three games will be challenging. [player_tooltip player_id='1969238' first='Bo' last='Donelson'], [player_tooltip player_id='2521696' first='Cruz' last='Cowan'], and [player_tooltip player_id='2861645' first='Slade' last='Cowan'] have been leading the way in scoring this year, but they have other players who can step up. Look for [player_tooltip player_id='1724428' first='Dax' last='Matheson'] and Will Little to make an impact in this game.

Timpanogos vs. Juan Diego

JDCHS has had a 3-0 start against sub-par competition, but that is about to change as they take on Timpanogos. Juan Diego will need continued solid performances from [player_tooltip player_id='2841025' first='Deng' last='Deng']. His presence on both ends of the floor is crucial to the team's success. [player_tooltip player_id='1960136' first='Javier' last='Aguirre'] has been a good, under-the-radar prospect with potential at 6'3" and possibly at the D3 level.

On the flip side, Timpanogos is in a position where its next five games will be tough. Timpanogos has been getting great play from [player_tooltip player_id='1966069' first='Jaxen' last='McCuistion'], Chaz Roze, and Forest Corner-Bettweiser. They will need all hands on deck to deal with the talent on that Juan Diego team.

American Fork vs. Highland

This is a must-watch game featuring two incredibly talented teams, boasting depth and skilled players at every position. Both squads showcase strong guards and possess enough length to significantly influence the game's outcome. Highland isn't just a top contender in 5A; they are arguably the best team in the state. American Fork, a true powerhouse, adds to the excitement, making this matchup one that demands full attention and perhaps some snacks for the viewing experience.

Highland's [player_tooltip player_id='1598266' first='Jordan' last='Oberholtzer'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1278450' first='Isaiah' last='Drisdom'], along with their teammates, will present an exciting matchup against [player_tooltip player_id='1439711' first='Bryce' last='Mella'], [player_tooltip player_id='1724369' first='Jax' last='Oyler'], [player_tooltip player_id='2089441' first='Jax' last='Clark'], and the rest of the American Fork squad. This contest promises to be a captivating display of skill and athleticism, with both teams bringing their A-game to the court.

Other Games:
