Day two of the Chicago Elite Classic delivered another slate of competitive games and breakout performances. Several underclassmen prospects made the most of their stage impacting winning in a variety of ways. Here are some of the top standouts from Saturday's action.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552408' first='TJ' last='Williams'] – Bolingbrook – 2026

One of the top instant-impact transfers in Illinois this season Williams continued to show why he has become a needed scoring punch for the Raiders. The guard was slippery off the bounce, shaking defenders, and finishing with elevation in traffic. Williams kept Bolingbrook in striking distance throughout finishing with 11 points and 4 assists in a balanced performance.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125620' first='Duke' last='Ross'] – St. Ignatius – 2027

Ross was massive in St. Ignatius' statement win over Whitney Young. The 6'5 junior forward operated with poise and efficiency shooting 6-8 from the field and a perfect 4-4 from three. He tied senior leader [player_tooltip player_id='2323283' first='Chris' last='Bolte'] with 16 points while adding six rebounds and timely playmaking. Ross continues to trend up as a versatile stretch-forward prospect with production on a big stage.

[player_tooltip player_id='2490487' first='Torrey' last='Barrett'] – Julian – 2027

Barrett put together a gritty performance in a tight loss to King. The 2027 wing scored 13 points knocking down a pair of threes and operating efficiently from the mid-range. Where he really stood out was on the glass leading all players with eight rebounds. Barrett's combination of physicality and shot-making gives Julian a reliable option in competitive games.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552625' first='EJ' last='Hazelett'] – Kankakee – 2026

The Indiana State commit made a strong impression on the big stage. The 6'7 pick-and-pop forward poured in 16 points including two threes — one from college distance — while adding a transition dunk following a [player_tooltip player_id='2105360' first='Lincoln' last='Williams'] steal. Hazelett gives the Kays another high-end scorer and floor-spacer a valuable piece in their push for a 3A state title.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125591' first='Caden' last='Crudup'] – Whitney Young – 2027

Crudup quietly had a big second half for the Dolphins. With defenses keying on [player_tooltip player_id='1552475' first='Marquis' last='Clark'], Crudup stepped up and hit timely shots showing smooth touch in the mid-range. He finished second on the team in both scoring and rebounding flashing two-way toughness. With his ability to punish defenses who overhelp Crudup is a player that will be underlined on scouting reports going forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='2962262' first='Marvin' last='Douglas'] – Homewood-Flossmoor – 2026

Douglas delivered an MVP-type performance for the Vikings finishing with 15 points and 9 rebounds. The 6'4 athletic wing scored around the basket with consistency and threw down a transition dunk that swung momentum in H-F's favor. A late-blooming prospect with length and bounce Douglas is one who should start drawing interest from small-college programs as the season continues.
