Fresh Faces (Northeast): 7th Grade Graders To Watch

Part Two of our 7th Grade Fresh Faces series heads to the Northeast, a region known for its toughness, IQ, and skill development. This group features young prospects who play with edge, awareness, and a strong understanding of the game at an early stage. Their ability to compete, adapt, and impact the floor speaks to both their preparation and long-term upside, making them a compelling group to track as they continue to grow within one of the country's most competitive basketball landscapes...    Josiah Belfor is emerging as one of the more intriguing lead guards in his class, showing noticeable growth as his game continues to mature. The skilled floor general has begun to put the pieces together, blending feel, pace, and decision-making at a high level. Belfor is a dynamic playmaker who can create offense for others just as comfortably as he can get his own, consistently keeping defenses off balance. His vision and passing ability stand out, while his scoring instincts allow him to capitalize when defenses collapse.     Zach Jones has established himself as a do-it-all scoring guard with the versatility to hurt defenses from virtually anywhere on the floor. He scores efficiently in a variety of ways, whether attacking off the bounce, finishing through contact, or knocking down shots when defenders give him space. Jones consistently breaks down defenders at a high level, using his handle, pace, and change of direction to create advantages. Once he gets downhill, he puts constant pressure on the defense and forces rotations, opening up scoring opportunities for himself and others.     Beckham Loebig profiles as a versatile and skilled wing who brings a legitimate scoring presence every time he steps on the floor. He has a polished offensive game and the ability to score at all three levels, whether it's knocking down shots from the perimeter, attacking closeouts, or finishing in traffic. Loebig plays with confidence and a scorer's mentality, consistently finding ways to impact the game without needing the ball constantly in his hands.     Quincy Marshall III is a skilled lead guard whose feel for the game stands out immediately, anchored by elite court awareness and a natural ability to see the floor. He consistently reads defenses a step ahead, delivering the ball on time and on target while keeping the offense organized. Marshall plays with poise, understands pace, and knows how to put teammates in positions to succeed. His vision allows him to capitalize on defensive breakdowns and create high-quality looks, making him a steady presence at the point of attack.     Silas Tucker checks the boxes as a smooth, athletic, and versatile wing whose physical tools translate into real impact on both ends of the floor. He plays with fluidity and confidence, using his athleticism to create advantages offensively while also making his presence felt defensively. Tucker can attack space, finish above the rim, and operate effectively within the flow of the offense, making him a difficult matchup.
