We have seen a ton of high school basketball games this season! Our staff also is trying to find new film on prospects every day! Here are some 2026s that caught our attention!

[player_tooltip player_id='2437681' first='Richie' last='Darr'] (Bishop McNamara – 2026)

Darr is a face up four man who has been on our radar for a while. Long and lanky power forward that has good skill. Handles well for his size. Bounce athlete that can finish above the rim. Passes well on the move making a ton of nice passes in the tape we saw. That was probably the biggest revelation from the film reviewed. He has always been a good mid-range shooter which was evident here again.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552473' first='Alijah' last='Little'] (Plainfield East – 2026)

Little is one of the better wings still on the board. He is back at Plainfield East and posting big numbers. Athletic wing who loves to attack the rim both in the half court and transition. Really excels when he gets the space to operate and press the issue in the open floor. Crisp ball handler that gets to his spots and can take a bump while still scoring.

Logan Kurtz (Tuscola – 2026)

The 6'2” Tuscola lead guard is off to a fast start as a senior. Crisp ball handler that attacks off the bounce with a quick first step. Very low release starting point on the shot, but makes them at solid clip. Flashes passing instincts. Good frame and toughness. Solid small college prospect.

Bryson Mossman (Routt Catholic – 2026)

Mossman has emerged as a legit prospect as a senior. The 6'4” wing is putting up 20+ on a consistent basis. Lefty has clean looking shot from three where he knocks them in pulling up and off the catch. Toughness on the glass, pushes in the open floor, and is a crafty finisher in the paint. Automatic in the mid-range pulling up.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552450' first='Mark' last='Render'] (Antioch – 2026)

Render is a 6'1” guard that has emerged as the go to guy for Antioch this season. Moves well when off the ball. The passing instincts stand out as well making nice reads in the half court. Sound three point shooter that can hit them off the catch from beyond the arc at a solid rate. Spinning layups in the lane. Solid ball handler that gets to his spots.

Branden Chatman (Rockford Guilford – 2026)

Chatman averaged over 30 points a game to open the season at the Hoops for Healing event. The athleticism really pops for the guard as he gets steals and blocks on the defensive end with his instincts along with athletic ability. Elevation on the jump shot with a clean release from deep. Slick ball handler that plays with a lot of flair. An pass off live dribbles making those around him better. Rebounds well from his guard spot. High-motor guard that will excel at a small school.

Cade Styrsky (Providence Catholic – 2026)

This 6'1” guard from Providence Catholic is an active defender that gets his hands on deflections and steals. That is the area he really excels is being a good team defender. Gets loose off his defense for scores and flashes as a connective passer.

Daniel Fajinmi (Bogan – 2026)

The 6'4” bouncy four man is a good athlete that protects the rim in the paint. Plays well in transition handling or running the floor. So active on the defensive end including LeBron blocks against the glass. Handles well in traffic and can finish with big dunks.

Dawson Traphagan (Brimfield – 2026)

Traphagan is a 6'1” guard from Brimfield with a strong upper body. Shows solid passing instincts on the move. Likes to pull up walking into threes. Also does a nice job of getting buckets in transition.

Grady Reed (IVC – 2026)

Reed is a guard that rebounds well for his position especially on the defensive end. Solid shooter from three off the catch with a quick and concise release. Crafty finisher in the paint. Decent defender that uses angles well. Shows good passing feel especially in the half court putting zip on several dimes.
