Thanksgiving week I attended four tournaments for exactly 25 games and 48 different teams. The events I watched were Phoenix Union Coyote Classic at Central and Deer Valley for 2 days, Fear The Hop Tournament at Mesa HS, Ben Franklin Thanksgiving Classic at Ben Franklin and Gilbert Christian and lastly the LV8 Invitational at Chandler-Gilbert CC.

Here were some Newcomer SG/SF's

[player_tooltip player_id='2700924' first='Duke' last='Suggs'] Chaparral (Pictured)

A long defensive wing who can score. The son of former ASU legend and NFL player is a very fluid player who will rise up over the defense. He will score with step thrus and earn trips to the free throw line. He will drive on the floor and plays aggressively on defense. His wingspan, upside and family lineage are intriguing.

[player_tooltip player_id='3150450' first='Brion' last='O'Leary'] Williams Field

A scoring guard will fill it up with threes off the catch, floaters, mid-range pull-ups off the dribble and he is tough to rebound in and out of his area. He had it going on versus San Tan with a nice breakout game of 11 points and he rebounds well for his size.

[player_tooltip player_id='3148446' first='Cannon' last='Owens'] Desert Ridge

A scoring guard is a catch and shoot three point type with an ultra quick release. He will move without the ball and cut for a bucket but is best off the catch. He will rebound in his area with decent size and has some length and a little athleticism. He played well in both games viewed.

[player_tooltip player_id='3148545' first='Huck' last='Lang'] Gilbert Christian

A decent sized shooting guard who can score it with jab steps and blow by's. He has a super quick triggered three point shot and he has stronger hands to rip some pockets. He is another talented newcomer for the East Valley team.

[player_tooltip player_id='3148541' first='Brady' last='Jaeger'] AZ College Prep

A scoring guard who can fill it up. The lefty has a pure stroke from the three point line and comes with a quicker trigger. He has nice arc with a higher release and good ball rotation. He runs around off of screens and curls to free himself to get open.

[player_tooltip player_id='2412026' first='Rylon' last='Bradford'] ALA Ironwood

A long and very lean scoring guard/wing. He is a catch and shoot three point shooter who brings some length. He plays the passing lanes and will rebound in his area. He runs the court well and shows upside.

[player_tooltip player_id='3135160' first='Gavin' last='Stevenson'] Valley Vista

A high motored wing is great in transition and plays hard to grab rebounds out of his area. The lefty scores mostly in the paint with hook shots, fall aways, transition buckets and he will also score it easily thru the contact. He scored around 15 points and showed a lot of toughness playing thru multiple injuries.

[player_tooltip player_id='2844677' first='Tony' last='Bayigamba'] Trevor Browne

A tall and long wing forward. He will rebound in and out of his area, run the floor fluidly and even block shots. He will score with threes off the catch, runners, floaters and drive it to the basket. A nice West Valley sleeper to look at.

[player_tooltip player_id='3134781' first='Karmello' last='Walker'] Trevor Browne

A powerfully built wing forward who will score with layups and is very efficient near the basket. He can play with his back to the basket and go to work and also cashes in with his FT's with a nice compact stroke. He is a very good rebounder in his area to score with put backs, he will occasionally hit the three and he is a sneaky good passer. He had 29 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='3141510' first='Kaiser' last='Sietsema'] Red Mountain

A bigger wing forward who can score it and defend. He handles it fairly well and scores it from inside and out. He shoots the three and will score it in the paint and gets off the ground quickly to rebound. Like Tony, this one is a nice East Valley sleeper.
