2027 SF AJ Clarke (Murray) -- 36 points (14-35 FG, 7-17 3P, 1-2 FT), 9 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals, 8 blocks [at Essex]

It took 35 shots to get to his 36 points, so the efficiency wasn't great, but everything else about Clarke's outing against Essex was high-level. Most notable was his dominance as a shot blocker, turning away an eye-popping eight shots against the Trojans.

2028 SF [player_tooltip player_id='2274770' first='Rockwell' last='Hughes'] (North Iowa) -- 35 points (12-15 FG, 3-5 3P, 8-9 FT), 8 rebounds, 2 steals [at West Hancock]

A sleeper in the sophomore class tucked up in north central Iowa, Hughes is a plus-athlete with size, strength, and the ability to score from anywhere on the floor. This outing against West Hancock may have been his breakout performance that really starts to catapult the rest of his high school career.

2027 SG Carter Jorgenson (Sidney) -- 33 points (11-21 FG, 5-14 3P, 6-8 FT), 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 6 steals [vs. Griswold]

Jorgenson's 33 points were huge against the Tigers, helping lift the Cowboys to a 58-48 win. He showed his ability to score from all three levels against Griswold, getting to the line or the bucket, knocking down five 3s, and creating plays for his teammates.

2026 SF [player_tooltip player_id='2520041' first='Matson' last='Winings'] (South Winneshiek) -- 32 points (15-16 FG, 1-2 3P, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, 2 blocks [vs. Turkey Valley]

Just look at that efficiency! Winings missed just one shot en route to a 32-point, 10-rebound double-double in the Warriors blowout win over Turkey Valley. At 6-4, he can dominate games at this level in a multitude of ways.

2027 SG Mason Walter (Belle Plaine) -- 31 points (13-26 FG, 1-4 3P, 4-8 FT), 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 5 steals, 1 block [at Colfax-Mingo]

The Plainsmen are young and winless, but Walter delivered a shining performance against the TigerHawks, dropping 31 points on 50% shooting, impacting the game on the defensive end in a significant way, and contributing on the glass in a major way from his perimeter spot. A 5-11 guard who showed that he can fill it up, he's one to monitor over the next year.

2026 PF Jacob Woodson (Tripoli) -- 30 points (14-28 FG, 2-8 3P), 9 rebounds (7 offensive), 4 steals [vs. Rockford]

A strong, physical 6-4 forward, Woodson is an imposing force in the painted area on both ends of the floor for the Panthers. He has soft hands, good touch around the rim, and a non-stop motor that he uses to control the glass, especially on the offensive end of the floor.

2028 SF [player_tooltip player_id='2523893' first='Cooper' last='Hamilton'] (St. Albert) -- 30 points (13-21 FG, 4-8 3P, 0-1 FT), 3 rebounds, 4 assists, 5 steals [vs. Shenandoah]

The sophomore wing was great against Shenandoah, scoring an efficient 30 points and stuffing the stat sheet on both ends of the floor. He's an active defender with quick hands who moves his feet well. He can score inside and out, and play with or without the ball in his hands.

2026 PF [player_tooltip player_id='2731804' first='Isaiah' last='Sholes'] (Essex) -- 29 points (11-19 FG, 2-4 3P, 5-11 FT), 12 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals, 6 blocks [vs. Murray]

In that same game as Clarke's standout performance, Sholes pretty much went shot-for-shot, rebound-for-rebound, and block-for-block with him. Sholes, a senior forward, is a bouncy, athletic rim protector who can score efficiently around the bucket, is a force on the glass, and has seemingly added a bit of range to his arsenal.
