Saturday at the Berry Center was the final stage for the Cy Hoops Invitational and many players made huge impacts for their teams on championship day. The annual tournament is put on by the Cypress Educational Foundation and invites all the varsity teams out of Cypress, as well as some talented teams outside of Houston. Dallas made sure to make their impact known in the tournament and had several players catch my eye on Saturday. Here are some individual athletes who caught my attention!

Caden was the most complete player in terms of elite scoring that I was able to watch all day and he had this on display against Marshall in full fashion. He scores from all three levels, can get himself to the foul line, and is the go-to player when his team needs a basket. The New Mexico State commit definitely made an impact on me in my first time watching him play and I will continue to keep an eye on him to see how he continues this momentum.

Jaxon was the main scorer for Mansfield Summit in their championship win over the Dickinson Gators. Sneed possesses a knack for good ballhandling under pressure and remains calm and poised during crunch time. He can score from all three levels and showed that he can be effective from either guard slot. I really liked his ability to push in transition and shoot off the dribble.

Javon was a big-time defensive presence for the Jaguars taking on the tough task of guarding the opposing team's best player in the final game of the Invitational. Ross showed that he can be physical on both the perimeter and in the post for defense. He also contributed on offense by getting himself to the free throw line and moving off the ball well.

Xander stood out to me as one of the post players in the tournament who impacted the game on both ends in a positive way. Pruzinsky uses his height to snag second chance rebounds, stretch the floor on the perimeter, and fly above the defense for momentum shifting dunks. Coming off an impressive summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2371255' first='AB' last='Elite'], Xander has had his stock rise significantly and continues to make waves in his recruitment with strong outings such as this one.

Vijay was the most impressive freshman in the Invitational on Saturday and made a huge impact as a two-way player in Memorial's win over Marshall. He helped with ballhandling, made tough buckets over defenders, and got defensive stops when the Warriors needed them most. As a main contributor on this roster, Keshaav is showing a lot of potential as only a 9th grader and can further improve from here on out.
