[player_tooltip player_id='3166059' first='Rett' last='Ethier'] Brophy Prep

A bigger guard with a high feel for the game. He is a good rebounder in his area with his size and a next level type of passer. He will score with counter moves into a layup, hesitate to get downhill and plays off of two-feet. He gives hard jab steps and will burst past his initial defender with ease and his crossover is tough to defend. The son of a MLB player is also a baseball player and it will be interesting which sport he chooses. He scored 18 points with many assists.

[player_tooltip player_id='3166064' first='Luke' last='Conrad'] Brophy Prep

[player_tooltip player_id='3166183' first='Dion' last='Gordon'] Mountain Ridge

A quick undersized scoring point guard can score with catch threes, transition buckets, mid-range pull-ups and he can get to his spots with his speed with the ball. He is a good passer and his mid-range jumper is his sweet spot. He scored 11 points.

Junior Varsity Game (58-42 Brophy Prep won)

[player_tooltip player_id='2694071' first='Brady' last='Powell'] Brophy Prep

A strong power forward has soft hands and will go up quickly and he is a high level rebounder. He will rip thru baseline and go to work with some skill. His euro step game is hard to contain with his frame and size and he is a very good passer. He can also dunk it on the break. He scored 12 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2747424' first='Henry' last='Short'] Brophy Prep

[player_tooltip player_id='2747422' first='Isaiah' last='Swan'] Brophy Prep

A very quick point guard can jet past his defenders to the basket and absorb some contact. He is very fast on the break and he attacks other guards. He gets to the free throw line and uses the floater game. He scored 9 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='3166147' first='Carter' last='Oyen'] Mountain Ridge

A long and lean wing forward rebounds well and blocks shots with his length and size. He has great activity on defense and will score with downhill takes and is very good on the break. He also played a little on varsity.

[player_tooltip player_id='2297971' first='Hale' last='Hansen'] Brophy Prep

A hyper athletic wing forward was impressive on their opening night. He had multiple dunks, alley-oops and one poster. He is a super quick second and third jumper and is very patient in the post. He made one nasty spin move into a score and hit a couple catch threes. He collects steals, grabs rebounds and will block shots. He scored an efficient 18 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150903' first='Rocket' last='Schwertley'] Brophy Prep

A highly skilled power forward will create his own offense with a nice handle using his strength. He is very patient in the post and will consistently score thru the contact. He fights really hard inside with his girth and strength plus uses a motor. He is a good passer and will shoot the three. He scored 11 points in limited minutes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2806856' first='Amaru' last='Williams'] Brophy Prep

[player_tooltip player_id='2266384' first='Aiden' last='Williams'] Brophy Prep

[player_tooltip player_id='2146242' first='Cooper' last='Frakes'] Brophy Prep

A scoring point guard makes smart decisions with the ball and will spray the ball around. He threw a perfect lob pass to a running teammate and rebounded well with his toughness and strength for position. The game got out of hand early so he wasn't needed to play heavy minutes.

[player_tooltip player_id='3166010' first='Bray' last='Gray'] Brophy Prep

A newcomer for me is a highly skilled scoring guard who brings good guard depth to the varsity team. He will score with fall aways from mid-range, offensive rebound put backs and he is a very good rebounder for a guard. He has a nice floater game and a nice shooting stroke from the perimeter.

He handles it well to create his own offense and plays off of two-feet. He will rebound and block shots plus will score with offensive rebound put backs with good timing. He will ball fake and go baseline into a dunk and his best basketball is ahead of him. He scored 7 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='3173437' first='Maven' last='Beadle'] Mountain Ridge
