It's that time of the year when we take what we have seen in the summer, fall, and early season and try to put it all together. Here is a sneak peek into the 2026 Rankings Update.   Player in the Top 5   Wasatch Academy's [player_tooltip player_id='2452929' first='Katrelle' last='Harmon'] is projected to be in the Top 5, and the Creighton-bound recruit is a coveted player. Wasatch Academy has a history of producing impressive talent, and Harmon certainly fits that mold. This year, Harmon has been explosive and steady, making wise decisions on the court. He is attacking the rim more often, showcasing improved above-the-rim play with effective backcuts against players guarding the lane, and he has shown an improved ability to create offense off the dribble.   Player on the Rise   Carson Mostellar of Skyridge is having a stellar season. He's averaging 20 points per game while also excelling in rebounding and finding open teammates. His back-to-the-basket style, coupled with his 6'4" frame, makes him an intriguing prospect on the rise. He's a highly skilled workhorse ready to contribute at the next level. Saunders can score in multiple ways and also provides solid defense. He's a "buy stock now" prospect.   Sleeper Prospect   Carson Malan, a 6'4" prospect from the new West Field High School, possesses a versatile perimeter game. He can effectively shoot from outside and also uses strong drives and tough finishes to score. Malan is considered a sleeper in his class.   New Comer   [player_tooltip player_id='1768205' first='Jayden' last='Hughes'], from Lone Peak, provides his team with a lengthy ball handler and an above-the-rim athlete capable of making an impact when playing off the ball. He is an intriguing newcomer to both the state and the rankings within his class.
