The 2026 class has been productive during the first half of the 2025 season.

The productivity has been seen across Tennessee. Whether people have noticed or not, the senior class has a lot of talent.

And it's time to notice how well the prospects have performed.

How good has this class been in the early portion of the season?

It's been very good.

Here are seniors that are off to a good start:

[player_tooltip player_id='2194624' first='Eli' last='Brown'], Brentwood Academy: Brown's presence and experience have helped this season's Eagles' team. Brentwood Academy (8-1) can count on Brown in crucial possessions on both ends of the floor. He's a really good shooter. Brown is going to defend. He's been productive throughout his high school career. Brown's experience could pay dividends come postseason time. He's currently averaging 14.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.0 steal per game. Brown is one of the best snipers in the senior class. He's shooting 45 percent from 3.

[player_tooltip player_id='1658056' first='Parker' last='Pounds'], Briarcrest: Pounds has quietly had a stellar high school career. He won a TSSAA Division II-AA state title with the Saints as a sophomore. Pounds played in the state title game last season. Coming into the 2025 season, Briarcrest, which is led by [player_tooltip player_id='1760996' first='Fred' last='Smith Jr']. and talented sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2194485' first='Joshua' last='Huggins'], could be playing for another state title. Pounds will have to play well for it to happen. He's played in enough big games in the past two seasons to not have the jitters. The 6-foot-5 shooting guard is shooting 60 percent from 3. That wasn't a typo. Pounds can really stroke it from deep.

[player_tooltip player_id='2503087' first='Devin' last='Fish'], Warren County: The Pioneers are ranked 14th in Tennessee on MaxPreps. Warren County is off to a 5-2 start. Fish has been the engine for the Pioneers' awesome start. The 6-3 guard is very polished, patient on offense, and plays with a good pace. Fish is a three-level scorer and is effective on and off the ball. He's currently averaging 16.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game. Fish is shooting 70 percent from the free throw line. Warren County has a player that's going to produce from the start of the season to the very end.

Tyshaun Poore, Cane Ridge: Poore is doing what he's supposed to do as a senior. He's leading the team on offense (19.0 points per game), being aggressive on the defensive end, and showing his range from 3 (48 percent). The Ravens are currently 4-5, but the season is still in its early days. There's no reason to panic just yet. Cane Ridge started off district play with a win over Antioch. The Ravens have more important games coming up. With Poore leading the way, Cane Ridge will be in the thick of things.

[player_tooltip player_id='2283590' first='Carter' last='Ezell'], Centennial: Ezell came out blazing hot before his injury in the second half of the Cougars' contest against Siegel. In the contest, Ezell had 21 points at the break. In the first 6 games, the 6-4 shooting guard averaged 25.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.2 steals, and 3.0 assists. He's not going to return until early January. Ezell's small absence won't hurt his stock. He's proven he's one of the best guards in this class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1946924' first='Chris' last='Johnson'], Nolensville: Johnson has been the shining armor for the Knights this season. The 6-7 forward gives it his all each night he's on the floor. Nolensville currently sits at 7-1. Johnson has been on a tear in the team's first 8 games, averaging 17.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.0 blocks, while shooting 80 percent from the field.

[player_tooltip player_id='1911257' first='Hudson' last='McKnight'], Brentwood: McKnight has everything a program needs to be successful: high IQ, great attitude, great competitor, and great work ethic. That's a recipe for success. McKnight has helped the Bruins start the season off 9-1. Brentwood is one of the hottest teams in TSSAA Division I Class 4A this season and has the makeup to be one of the teams in Murfreesboro, Tennessee competing for a state title. The 6-3 guard is averaging 10.0 points, 5.0 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.0 steals per game. I think McKnight is just getting started. His steady play will probably continue.
