Previous Rank: #62

Current Rank: #56

Bullock moves up a few spots in the rankings after a big summer and fall, and heading into his senior year he's the most experienced player who will be looked at to lead his Catholic group and he seems up for the challenge with the way he's been playing. The 6'3” lefty has a lot of versatility at his size as he can handle the ball in transition and in the half court and is an athletic finisher when he gets downhill, he's very good at creating space and knocking down shots both in the midrange and from deep, and he's a very good defender both on the ball and in help shooting passing lanes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2575694' first='Chris' last='Rochester'] | 6'7” PF | Virginia Academy

Previous Rank: #95

Current Rank: #63

Rochester moves up quite a bit in the rankings, as much like his brother he showed a lot of upside as a young player and is starting to put it together in a big way late in his high school career, making it clear that his best basketball is still ahead of him. At 6'7” he has all the tools to be a modern day mismatch four man who can stretch the floor and attack closeouts on the perimeter, he can guard multiple positions with his ability to move his feet and his long arms to challenge shots, and he ability to be moved around to play and guard multiple positions makes him a very intriguing prospect moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='2459378' first='Jonathan' last='Jennings'] | 6'5” SF | Fairfax Christian

Previous Rank: #79

Current Rank: #74

Jennings moved up a few spots after he got healthy and had a big summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2078813' first='VA' last='Premier'], which led to a lot of scholarship programs showing interest and recently committing to D2 powerhouse Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania. The 6'5” wing is set to have a big senior season for Fairfax Christian as he brings a ton of energy with his athletic play in transition and ability to get deflections and block shots defensively, he can handle it and get downhill in straight lines to break down defenses, he can knock down open shots, and he is able to stuff the stat sheet and impact the game across the board.

[player_tooltip player_id='2618830' first='Nick' last='McIntyre'] | 6'3” SG | Princess Anne

Previous Rank: #102

Current Rank: #96

McIntyre has steadily climbed the rankings as he's continued to improve over the past few years, and heading into his senior season he'll be a contender for Beach District Player of the Year if he plays the way he did this summer on both ends of the floor. He's another great candidate for a post grad year as the 6'3” off guard tracts as a “3 and d” type of player as he can drill it from deep off the catch, he uses his long arms to challenge shots and buys into guarding the other team's best player, he's a good secondary ball handler who can initiate offense, and he's the type of player who can get hot and score it in bunches when he gets it going.

[player_tooltip player_id='2879990' first='Justin' last='Hunter'] | 6'2” SG | Miller School

Previous Rank: #123

Current Rank: #114

Hunter played a huge role in helping Peninsula Catholic to a VISAA D-II state championship appearance last year, then transferred to the school they lost to in Miller, where so far he's shown he'll fit in just fine in their uptempo space-and-pace system where his shooting is not only an asset, but highly encourage. The 6'2” off guard can flat out knock it down with great form and elevation so he doesn't need a ton of space, he uses his strong frame to get physical on the defensive end, he is a good rebounder for his position, and he understands his role and plays it to the max that he can.

Dean Quaye | 6'0” CG | S3 Academy

Previous Rank: #177

Current Rank: #120

Quaye is one of the few returners for a new look and talented S3 team, and between his development over the past couple of years and the fact that he has more talented pieces around him, he's been playing fantastic basketball in the fall and in the early parts of the season. The 6'0” guard has really gotten into good shape and looks much more athletic because of it, he's shot the ball well from deep and in the midrange, he's shown the ability to be a scorer and a facilitator on the ball, and defensively he brings a big bolt of energy as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2548297' first='Gart' last='Heller'] | 6'7” PF | Powhatan

Previous Rank: #168

Current Rank: #138

Heller caught our eye going into his junior season, and since then he looks like a completely different player as he's been one of the most improved players in the entire state so far. The 6'7” forward grew into his body and lost some baby fat making him much more fluid and explosive, his footwork in the post has come a long way and he's able to use pivots and fakes to get open looks around the rim, he has shown some extended range and better consistency stretching the floor, and he's learned how to do the little things outside of scoring to help his team as well.
