Reiser was a key part of the Hawks ability to go 18-7 in 2024-25. Averaging over 17 PPG and 5 assists he led by a longshot in both categories. Now that he's going into his last season at Alta, I can only imagine what is to come from this stud guard. He can score from anywhere on the floor and once he gets going, he's hard to stop. Other teams will be forced to focus on him for most of the game and he will make them pay for it with his vision as well.

Even through all the turmoil the team went through last season, Ian was a bright spot for them. He's a guy that can do it all on offense and make a difference in the passing lanes. But what stands out to me is how he was the leader for his team last year even with plenty of older kids on the roster. He's been climbing in the rankings and for good reason. He's a great passer in the open court and plays the game for what it is. He won't force things often and can see plays develop before they happen.

Simeon is prepped and ready to have a monster season for Orem. With so many important pieces gone from last season, he is going to be taking on a lot of responsibility. He already showed last year how much potential he has and now as their go-to option Suguturaga will be able to flourish. This team will go as he goes and that's a lot of pressure for a young player but it's something he is ready for. He scored 10 PPG last season in only 21 minutes a game (3rd on team) and he should be closer to 28 MPG. The offense will be funneled through him as their other top 6 scorers have left.

In his Junior season [player_tooltip player_id='2732870' first='Lincoln' last='Smith'] led the team in scoring and was 2nd in assists. The definition of an offensive engine. His team relied on him to get to his spot and know how to get his teammates to theirs. He's a quick guard with good size and can take advantage of almost any matchup. He can rise over smaller defenders and blow by bigger or slower guys. He rarely looks rushed with the ball in his hands. He has a great combination of ball skills, shooting, and court awareness that leads to his coaches being able to count on him game in and game out.

Another stud athlete that, as a Junior, was his team's top option. Scoring over 17 PPG he has a great skillset for the next level. Right now he's committed to Utah State, and with another big year coming up maybe he fields some more offers. He can rebound, shoot, drive, pass, you name it. The sky is the limit for a kid who shot 49% from the field last year on high volume. Definitely worth tuning into a few American Fork games this year.
