11/18/25: Weight gain is imperative for [player_tooltip player_id='2756852' first='Ross' last='Perlick']. Perlick earned his ranking last winter as an inside-out threat at 6-foot-4 alongside great program guards [player_tooltip player_id='2139247' first='Ja'Michael' last='Mitchell'] and Towan Siler. Now, Perlick's offensive maturity is needed...and in a hurry. This team lacks the scoring punch of a year ago and Perlick must be either the 1A or 1B option. Strengths include shooting touch and versatility. The guy can play either guard spot and probably either forward spot at the varsity level. Projects as a small college 2/3.

11/18/25: Austin entered the season ranked #62, a very lofty ranking. Does it appear fitting after his singular Tuesday performance? Austin is quite nimble defensively. His lateral mobility, usually a limiting factor for future college wings, exceeded expectations. King can asbolutely play small forward beyond high school.

11/18/25: Sharp change of direction. Ethan is shorter than 6' and in need of guile, speed, or bounce to get his shot off in traffic. At first glance Ethan possesses two of the three: guile, speed. Ragland is a player in that DJ Augustin (NBA retired) mold. He creates his own and though he is listed as a point guard Ethan is primarily a scorer and a creator for himself. Ragland's primary edge comes from quickness and handle and yet he needs to bulk up a touch to round out his game. Ethan gets a half-step on defenders often. Ideally, he will utilize that edge and draw more fouls. Wilson Central needs to find additional ways to score easy points and this is a feasible solution.

11/18/25: Grafton is forced to play under the basket most of the time for Wilson Central and he thrives there. His future will be a faceup forward though. Graves' best two offensive plays come on turnaround jumpers operating from the low block. Beautiful shooting touch. Any opportunities for WCHS to start Graves out high for a touch should be taken. He can hit a three-pointer, and most teams will defend him with the center. Graves does not play above the rim. Passes with precision. Competitor.

11/18/25: Chandler was unequivocally the best offensive player of the first half. A mid-air magician Galloway was largely unstoppable by Wilson Central. The 6-foot-5+ wing dribbled by shorter guards and leapt over the Wildcat bigs easily.
