It was time to revisit the Class of 2028 rankings as October wrapped and adjust to account for the player's growth or stagnation. Rankings are subjective and PrepHoops.com/Tennessee (@CourtneyHoops90 + @AndrewForce8) ranks purely upon potential and where the player will be at their basketball peak. Production factors in only when helping prove the potential is greater or lesser. Why did we rank these guys? Why are they at this spot? Take a look at several Class of 2028 prospects and learn a little about their reputation.
Stunningly, Bo MaxwellBoMaxwell

Cookeville | 2028 StateTN started and contributed as a freshman on a veteran team last season. His rebounding is improved. He will likely be an undersized guard beyond high school. The passing was exceptional for a freshman, and his shooting is on track to be very good by high school's end. Great court awareness. In the last six months Bo bulked up a bit in the shoulders and chest. He is still slight of frame.

in Abe's final high school year. Reinbold was schooled under elite coach Reggie Tucker the last three years. Frazier scored 10 points and collected five rebounds in a road win over Loudon last week. With his recent development Maddox appears to be a point guard in which case his profile will be tinkered with and changed. Unselfish.

Ensworth | 2028 StateTN ran a 11.1 second 100-yard dash back in the spring for the TSSAA Track & Fild DII Class AA Middle Region Meet. Keyon stands 6-foot-3 and plays on the wing. At the high school level Shaw is capable of exceling at four different offensive positions. Ensworth is running a 1-3-1 zone defense with Steven ShermanStevenSherman

Ensworth | 2026 StateTN out high. When competing against Hume-Fogg earlier this season Keyon welcomed contact and displayed plus agility. Not yet a deeper shooter. Quick leaper. Screening technique needs some work. Shaw is coachable. Mature. Instantly takes accountability and holds himself to a high standard as a teammate.
Keyon is a prospect out on the wing who showcased his blend of length, athleticism, and offensive skill into a versatile two-way package. He has good positional size, and he impacts the game on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he is a good shot-creator capable of generating looks from all three levels. He thrives in isolation and excels at creating space off the dribble, knocking down tough, contested jumpers, and finishing at the rim with body control, touch, physicality, and athleticism. - Terry Drake's October evaluation
