1. Kewaunee -- A talented team a year ago when it finished 17-9, Kewaunee could be even better in 2025-26 as coach Matt Bosdeck welcomes the return of four double-figure scorers. All four were starters for the Storm last season and form a strong nucleus. They include seniors [player_tooltip player_id='2542522' first='Connor' last='Kilgore'] (6-2, 12.3 ppg, 6.7 rpg) and [player_tooltip player_id='2381690' first='Avery' last='Jerabek'] (6-1, 14.8 ppg, 4.0 rpg) along with sophomores [player_tooltip player_id='2841336' first='Dane' last='Harrell'] (6-4, 10.8 ppg, 12.0 rpg) and [player_tooltip player_id='2841334' first='Diesel' last='Bosdeck'] (6-3, 11.9 ppg, 3.8 rpg). Kewaunee's scoring balance and depth will give Packerland opponents trouble all season as senior Evan Maccoux (5-8, 7.3 ppg, 2.7 rpg) also returns.

2. Algoma -- Another second-place finish in the Packerland could be forthcoming for Algoma. But the Wolves, of course, would prefer to finish one spot better and win the league title. They will attempt to do so behind one of the conference's better all-around players in senior [player_tooltip player_id='2634556' first='Parker' last='Lischka'] (6-2, 21.6 ppg, 6.1 rpg). One of the league's top defenders, Lischka can also score and rebound. He might be the best player in the league and will get plenty of help from two other experienced performers in senior [player_tooltip player_id='2956844' first='Braeden' last='Leist'] (6-2, 7.8 ppg, 5.5 rpg) and junior [player_tooltip player_id='3018815' first='Charlie' last='Prokash'] (6-1, 5.8 ppg, 3.6 rpg). Coach Eric Schneider looks for some help from seniors [player_tooltip player_id='3018811' first='Lane' last='Cochart'] (6-2) and Aiden Zeitler as well as sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='3018816' first='Griffen' last='Robinson'] (5-10) as well.

3. Southern Door -- The string of three straight Packerland titles and a remarkable 47-1 league record during that time span speaks to the impact the graduated Drew Daoust (6-1, 32.3 ppg, 8.3 rpg) had on the Southern Door program. But with Daoust now playing at UW-Stevens Point, coach Josh VandenBush must turn the page this winter and will do so with senior [player_tooltip player_id='2387959' first='Lauden' last='Berg'] (6-2, 13.5 ppg, 6.8 rpg) leading the way. A strong all-around player, Berg plans to play college football at UW-Eau Claire, but first he hopes to lead the Eagles to more success. He will get help from classmates [player_tooltip player_id='2915720' first='Landon' last='Vandertie'] (6-0), [player_tooltip player_id='3022262' first='Damontrae' last='Meeks'] (5-11), [player_tooltip player_id='3021646' first='Talon' last='Mueller'] (5-11) and [player_tooltip player_id='3022261' first='Eli' last='Jadin'] (5-11) along with junior [player_tooltip player_id='2915722' first='Ryker' last='Lohrey'] (6-0). Sophomore Raymond Paye (5-10) and freshmen Dawson Schwartz (6-4) and [player_tooltip player_id='2381352' first='Quintyn' last='Schwartz'] (6-4) could also factor into the playing rotation.

4. Peshtigo -- Shooting, speed and size could all be assets for Peshtigo, which went 11-15 a year ago. Fourth-year varsity performer [player_tooltip player_id='2496332' first='Dominik' last='Baxter'] (6-5, 24.1 ppg, 7.0 rpg) is the top scorer in the Packerland and a two-time first-team all-league performer for coach Jason Boucher. Baxter's size and skill are impressive and difficult for opponents to cope with as he can post-up smaller defenders or take bigs outside and score from the perimeter. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='3021697' first='Brady' last='Polzin'] (6-0, 5 ppg, 2 rpg) also returns for the Bulldogs. Seniors [player_tooltip player_id='3021707' first='Elliot' last='Proft'] (6-0, 7 ppg, 4 rpg), [player_tooltip player_id='3021704' first='Landon' last='Haulotte'] (6-1, 2 ppg) and Brady Robinson (6-0, 3 rpg) could also play key roles. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='3021694' first='Levi' last='Hodgins'] (6-8, 4 pgp, 5 rpg) also returns to give the Bulldogs excellent size near the basket.

5. Sturgeon Bay -- Zach Goblisch, one of bright young coaches in the Packerland, is hoping the Clippers can remain in the upper half of the league standings despite losing five seniors to graduation, including top scorer and rebounder Jackson Starr (6-5, 17.6 ppg, 6.8 rpg). Juniors [player_tooltip player_id='3022459' first='Sam' last='Fruzyna'] (6-2, 5.2 ppg, 1.7 rpg) and [player_tooltip player_id='2386259' first='Benjamin' last='Ash'] (5-11, 8.6 ppg, 2.0 rpg) are the top returning players for Sturgeon Bay. Both possess plenty of varsity experience and will lead the way for others, including seniors [player_tooltip player_id='3022463' first='Owen' last='Starr'] (6-0) and [player_tooltip player_id='3033771' first='Dylan' last='Kaye'] (6-2) along with juniors [player_tooltip player_id='3022465' first='Siggy' last='Hansen'] (6-0), Vincent Laughlin (6-0), [player_tooltip player_id='3022460' first='Noah' last='Potier'] (6-1) and [player_tooltip player_id='3022462' first='Ross' last='Spritka'] (6-2).

6. Green Bay NEW Lutheran -- Scoring might be an issue, but coach Mark Meerstein begins his 35th season as head coach at Green Bay NEW Lutheran with lots of experience as four starters are back from a 7-19 squad. Seniors [player_tooltip player_id='2960667' first='Kenji' last='Lange'] (5-7, 5.1 ppg, 1.9 rpg), [player_tooltip player_id='2960669' first='Brett' last='Gajeski'] (6-1, 3.7 ppg, 3.8 rpg) and [player_tooltip player_id='2960672' first='Evan' last='Monfre'] (6-2, 3.2 ppg, 3.5 rpg) along with physical junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2852032' first='Hayden' last='Schultz'] (6-1, 12.1 ppg, 4.5 rpg) form a strong core for the Blazers. Others who figure to contribute include senior Colton Nichols (6-3) along with juniors [player_tooltip player_id='3020129' first='Nathan' last='Baeb'] (5-11) and Andrew Kim (5-10), and sophomores [player_tooltip player_id='3020126' first='Mason' last='Fosheim'] (5-8) and Logan Jadin (5-7).

7. Oconto -- The Blue Devils will look a bit different this season as Brett Kurowski takes over the coaching duties from Antwon Epps. Also gone from a 20-7 team are double-figure scorers Carter Koch (6-5, 20.9 ppg, 7.5 rpg), Cooper Campshure (6-1, 15.0 ppg, 5.4 rpg) and Trenton Hartman (6-3, 10.9 ppg, 5.1 rpg). Kurowski's largely inexperienced team will look to junior Joesph Bailey (5-11) and sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='3021574' first='Mason' last='Colvin'] (5-11, 5.4 ppg, 2.8 rpg) to supply much of the scoring and guard play for Oconto. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='3021580' first='Carlos' last='Guerrero'] (6-5) and sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='3021575' first='Bryce' last='Knoll'] (6-4) give the Blue Devils some size in the post.

8. Sevastopol -- Seven of the top nine players from last season return for the Pioneers. Coach Tom Ash is hopeful Sevastopol can climb up a few rungs in the Packerland standings with all of the experience in his program. Top returning players include seniors [player_tooltip player_id='3022113' first='Zaul' last='Valdivia'] (5-9, 9.4 ppg, 2.2 rpg), [player_tooltip player_id='3022115' first='Logan' last='Schuh'] (6-4, 10.0 ppg, 5.7 rpg), [player_tooltip player_id='3022110' first='Reid' last='Kacmarynski'] (6-2, 3.9 ppg, 4.9 rpg) and [player_tooltip player_id='3022117' first='Damien' last='Lardinois'] (6-1, 5.8 ppg, 4.7 rpg) along with sophomores [player_tooltip player_id='3022107' first='Bo' last='Tanck'] (6-1, 9.0 ppg, 6.1 rpg), [player_tooltip player_id='3022112' first='Cash' last='Kuehn'] (6-1, 2.6 ppg) and [player_tooltip player_id='3033739' first='Andrew' last='Weisner'] (6-3, 5.6 ppg, 3.3 rpg).

9. Gibraltar -- Coming off a 4-20 campaign, Gibraltar will look for improvement behind the return of two starters and several key reserves. Coach Travis Ward will look to seniors [player_tooltip player_id='2224520' first='Kayin' last='Jackson'] (6-0, 12.8 ppg, 3.9 rpg) and [player_tooltip player_id='3020053' first='Aaron' last='Brey'] (6-1, 4.6 ppg, 2.8 rpg) to provide leadership and stability to the Vikings' lineup. Seniors [player_tooltip player_id='3020055' first='Marco' last='Jauregui'] (5-9, 5.3 ppg, 2.4 rpg) and [player_tooltip player_id='3020051' first='Luke' last='Rericha'] (6-0, 2.2 ppg) along with junior [player_tooltip player_id='3020054' first='Wyatt' last='Bultman'] (6-5, 2.3 pgp, 3.7 rpg) figure to contend for starting spots alongside Jackson and Brey.

Top Returning Scorers

[player_tooltip player_id='2496332' first='Dominik' last='Baxter'] (Peshtigo) 24.1 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='2634556' first='Parker' last='Lischka'] (Algoma) 21.6 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='2381690' first='Avery' last='Jerabek'] (Kewaunee) 14.8 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='2387959' first='Lauden' last='Berg'] (Southern Door) 13.5 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='2224520' first='Kayin' last='Jackson'] (Gibraltar) 12.8 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='2542522' first='Connor' last='Kilgore'] (Kewaunee) 12.3 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='2852032' first='Hayden' last='Schultz'] (Green Bay NEW Lutheran) 12.1 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='2841334' first='Diesel' last='Bosdeck'] (Kewaunee) 11.9 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='2841336' first='Dane' last='Harrell'] (Kewaunee) 10.8 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='3022115' first='Logan' last='Schuh'] (Sevastopol) 10.0 ppg

Projected All-Conference Teams
First Team

[player_tooltip player_id='2634556' first='Parker' last='Lischka'], 6-2, Sr., Algoma
[player_tooltip player_id='2381690' first='Avery' last='Jerabek'], 6-1, Sr., Kewaunee
[player_tooltip player_id='2841336' first='Dane' last='Harrell'], 6-4, Soph., Kewaunee
[player_tooltip player_id='2496332' first='Dominik' last='Baxter'], 6-5, Sr., Peshtigo
[player_tooltip player_id='2387959' first='Lauden' last='Berg'], 6-2, Sr., Southern Door

Second Team
[player_tooltip player_id='2956844' first='Braeden' last='Leist'], 6-2, Sr., Algoma
[player_tooltip player_id='2224520' first='Kayin' last='Jackson'], 6-0, Sr., Gibraltar
[player_tooltip player_id='2852032' first='Hayden' last='Schultz'], 6-1, Jr., Green Bay NEW Lutheran
[player_tooltip player_id='2542522' first='Connor' last='Kilgore'], 6-2, Sr., Kewaunee
[player_tooltip player_id='2386259' first='Benjamin' last='Ash'], 5-11, Jr., Sturgeon Bay

The Big Five

Best Shooter: [player_tooltip player_id='2381690' first='Avery' last='Jerabek'], Kewaunee
Best Defender: [player_tooltip player_id='2634556' first='Parker' last='Lischka'], Algoma
Best Rebounder: [player_tooltip player_id='2841336' first='Dane' last='Harrell'], Kewaunee
Best Collegiate Prospect: [player_tooltip player_id='2496332' first='Dominik' last='Baxter'], Peshtigo
Most Improved: [player_tooltip player_id='3018815' first='Charlie' last='Prokash'], Algoma
