NHIAA Underclassmen: Forwards to Watch

He's a long and athletic 6'7" that plays hard on both ends of the floor and is just scratching the surface of his potential. He averaged 5.7 points per game as a freshman, but that number could triple this winter and doesn't tell the whole story of his game. He's an uber-versatile defender, high level two-way rebounder, and flies up and down the floor in transition. He had a bit role as a freshman on a really good <em>Bedford</em> team, but could shine this winter in a bigger role. He averaged 1.6 points per game in limited action last winter, but intrigues with his combination of athleticism, mobility, and length. At 6'6", he's one of the bigger and stronger prospects in the NHIAA and has the ability to do a lot of damage on the offensive and defensive glass. At 6'2", he has the size to play in the paint, but also shows some budding ability to play out on the perimeter. He does a nice job of making plays as a two-way rebounder, can defend in the post without fouling, and is capable of scoring with his back to the basket on the other end of the floor. As he develops his perimeter game, his ceiling will only rise.
