Prep Hoops Missouri had a chance to watch the action at the River Bend Classic at New Madrid Central. Here are some New Names of players that caught our attention at this early season SEMO showcase event.

Kennan Siebert (Campbell): A 5'9 2026 guard who scored a game-high 20 points in the Camel's victory over Cuba. He is a talented offensive player with good quickness and three-level scoring ability. He hit multiple 3-pointers and he was able to mix in runners and transition run outs

Josiah Lockridge (Caruthersville): A 6'4" 2027 forward who has a strong build and good athleticism to go along with it. He worked well in the paint with his positioning and strength to get buckets. He also gave a good second and third effort on the offensive glass. He also rebounded well and threw a nice outlet pass to start the break. He also showed some capable ball handling ability in the open court.

Cameron Carnal (Cuba): A 6'3" 2026 guard who scored 14 points against Campbell while being an excellent multi-tasker for his team. In addition to being the team's primary scorer, he is also the chief ball handler and playmaker who keeps everyone else involved. He is a good athlete who has a quick first step on the drive. He also hits the 3-pointer off the high ball screen. He also plays well without the ball with his cutting ability.

Dakyrious Williams (Charleston): A 6'3" 2028 forward who has a thick body and a versatile skill set. He has soft hands to catch the ball to finish in the paint. He can drive it well from the high post area and he was also hitting the elbow jumper. He also has a quick jump on the offensive boards. He will also step out and hit a 3-pointer.

Noah Siebert (Campbell): A 6'3" 2026 forward who plays a good all-purpose game that helps his team in several areas. He is a solid inside player who has a nice turnaround jumper. He is a good secondary ball handler and he rebounds the ball well with his length and activity level.

Isaac Smith (New Madrid Central): A 6'5" 2028 power forward who has a big body and looks to have the ideal size of an offensive lineman on the football field. He used his strength and physicality to his advantage to establish his position in the post. When he did, there was no moving him. He displayed a nice touch around the basket to score. When he grabbed a rebound, people tried to strip him, but that wasn't happening. He had a tight grip on the ball.

Quawnterrious McVay (Caruthersville): A 6'1" 2027 guard who has nice handles and very shifty moves off the bounce. He was keeping defenders off balance with his herky-jerky style, plus he is also left-handed. He also had a nice shooting stroke, especially when he was pulling up from the mid-range area.

Braden Gipson (Cuba): A 5'9" 2027 guard who had a big game against Campbell with 25 points. He really shot the ball well from 3-point range as he was hitting jumpers off the catch and working off of high ball screens. He scored on some good back door cuts and he also hustled inside to get a few offensive rebounds and putbacks.
