CP3NMSC South (DFW) Superlatives: 7th Grade Intangibles

Mansfield, TX — As we close out our 7th-grade coverage from the 2025 CP3 South Middle School Combine, Part Six turns the attention to the class of 2031's top intangible players. This group stood out through the subtle but essential qualities that drive team success—communication, steadiness, work rate, and an instinct for making timely plays. Whether keeping their groups organized, energizing teammates, or providing a calming presence in pressure situations, these athletes consistently elevated those around them. Their influence may not always show up on the stat sheet, but it was felt in every game they touched...    Logan Foote quietly elevated his team at the 2025 CP3 South Middle School Combine by excelling in all the winning details. He knocked down shots from midrange with confidence, found ways to finish inside, and consistently cleaned up the glass on both ends. Defensively, Foote held his own across multiple matchups, using effort and positioning to limit drives and contest shots. His ability to impact the game without needing plays drawn for him made him one of the more reliable contributors in his group.     Koen Rubin brought a scrappy edge to the backcourt at the 2025 CP3 South Middle School Combine, thriving when the game opened up and he could push the pace in transition. His energy turned loose balls into opportunities, and he showed he can finish or create on the move. Defensively, Rubin offered real value with his ability to match up across multiple spots, using quick feet and toughness to disrupt actions and stay in front of bigger or quicker players. His versatility and motor made him a steady presence throughout the event.     Cruz Sigmon provided a steady interior presence at the 2025 CP3 South Middle School Combine, using his size and strength to control the paint. He finished efficiently around the rim, establishing deep position and converting through contact. Sigmon was active on the glass at both ends, securing second-chance opportunities and limiting opponents' looks. His physical style of play set the tone inside and made him one of the more dependable frontcourt anchors when on the floor.     Jeremy Smith proved to be an athletic, do-it-all guard at the 2025 CP3 South Middle School Combine. He attacked the lane with burst, made plays for teammates, and showed he can score in a variety of ways. Smith's activity on both ends stood out, as he defended with energy, rebounded from the backcourt, and consistently found ways to impact possessions. His versatility and athletic tools made him one of the more intriguing guards in the 7th-grade division.     Tahj Stewart proved to be an athletic, high-impact guard at the 2025 CP3 South Middle School Combine. He consistently influenced the game on both ends, using his quickness to get downhill, create for others, and finish through contact. Defensively, Stewart was active in passing lanes, helped on the glass, and handled a variety of matchups with confidence.
