He did a terrific job of producing within the team structure. Sterling is a smart, unselfish guard with a high motor and scrappy nature. He knows how to fill in the gaps offensively. Sterling is a capable shooter and willing passer who maximizes his opportunities when available. He contains his assignment well defensively and is willing to sacrifice his body to make hustle plays. Christian is a good on-ball defender who anticipates well to force turnovers. Capable catch-and-shoot guy who plays well off screens and operates within the flow of the action.

Between his shooting, penetration, and scrappy defensive presence, he made his presence felt on both ends of the floor. Carlton is a solid perimeter shooter who moves well without the ball and knocks down jumpers at a high percentage. He attacks closeouts effectively, showing the ability to finish or make the extra pass when available. Smith is a solid defender who plays with great energy to outwork opponents for extra opportunities. Next, in his development process is working on the use of his off hand, as it would make him a more complete player. Carlton is crafty around the rim. Good on-ball defender. He is very confident in his game. Gets downhill with ease and looks for drop-off passes on the attack. Carlton found success throughout a couple of fall league games I watched.

It doesn't take long to recognize his appealing blend of intangibles and all-around skill set tools. Ladson is a well-built forward with a sturdy frame and a nonstop motor. He displays terrific feel and instincts on both ends of the floor, which allows him to operate in various positions. Ladson provides an active defensive presence and secures rebounds at a solid rate. Next in his development process is working on the use of his ability to face and extend his range out to 17 feet as it would make him a more complete player. Kingston is a solid freshman. He plays well with others and knows how to produce within the flow of the action. He has a strong body and solid handle. Showed the ability to knock down open mid-range jumpers as needed. Defensively, he competes hard on every possession. Kingston also finishes well at the rim. Kingston enjoyed a quality showing during a couple of fall league games I watched and has the tools to continue progressing over the foreseeable future.

In a setting where so many players need the ball to be successful, he stood out without requiring a ton of touches. Rowan is a low-maintenance piece with the IQ, motor, and skillset to naturally fill in the gaps on both ends of the floor. He's a terrific off-ball cutter who applies quality scoring pressure inside the arc. Rowan is a reliable midrange shooter and useful penetrating threat. He's a scrappy defender with the energy and positioning to contain his assignment. Next in his development process is working on the use of his off hand, as it would make him a better creator against pressure. Rowan is a very strong player who finishes well around the basket. Runs the floor in transition. Sets great screens. Very high-energy player with the ability to outwork others. Rowan did a lot of things well should be a vital future piece for the always competitive Walt Whitman program.

Given his perimeter shooting and unselfish mentality, he found several ways to make his presence felt. Morris is a terrific spot-up threat who can consistently knock down jumpers from beyond the arc. He's a capable finisher and midrange threat but looks like he's applying pressure from distance whenever possible. Morris provides solid effort on the glass and stands out as a useful on-ball defender. Next in his development process is working on the use of his off hand, as it would make him a better creator against pressure. Morris can heat up very fast from the perimeter. Knocks down jumpers from midrange and beyond the arc. Very athletic. Needs to improve his inconsistent effort at times. His game will take another step if he plays hard all the time.
