It's always great to get off to a strong start as the season is underway, and there have been some notable prospects who have done just that. Let's take a look at some of the players who have started to position themselves to move up the rankings.

Parker Snedeaker, Bingham

Parker has shown that his all-around game is on the rise, and his strength is apparent as he defends well at positions 1-4. Even undersized, he holds his own guarding bigger players. Add in his high IQ, and it's easy to see why he's a steal for a D2 program. Snedeaker is a plug-and-play prospect right off the bat. Local NAIA and D2 schools should pursue him, as he can play both on and off the ball. He has a smooth perimeter game, but his default mode is attacking the rim with precision. This kid is going to be on the move in the rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='1598266' first='Jordan' last='Oberholtzer'], Highland

Oberholtzer is quickly becoming one of my favorite players to watch, as he brings a blend of old-school and new-school flair to the game. He reminds me of Nick Van Excel. He is exciting and gets the job done. He scores and is a problem out in space. With elite shot-making, you have to defend him closely, but that's dangerous in itself. He is an easy choice among players in the class as a D2 player who will battle for minutes right away. He is an easy NWAC pick, and if he lands at the right D1 JUCO, he could sharpen his skills and be even better after two years.

[player_tooltip player_id='2539677' first='Cameron' last='Brower'], Davis

[player_tooltip player_id='2539677' first='Cameron' last='Brower'], Davis is poised to be a valuable player due to his versatility. He is a guard capable of playing the forward position, and his ability to grab rebounds makes him a dynamic player. There's a strong potential for him to excel at the next level, reaching a level of performance that hasn't been seen yet.

[player_tooltip player_id='2388587' first='Bracken' last='Saunders'], Morgan

[player_tooltip player_id='2388587' first='Bracken' last='Saunders'] has demonstrated a strong work ethic, and his dedication is starting to show. Four-year schools should recognize his potential to perform consistently at a high level. Saunders is an efficient scorer who can hit shots from anywhere on the court. He is an NJCAA D1 prospect and could potentially outperform some of the players currently in college.

[player_tooltip player_id='2148482' first='Collin' last='Simmons'], Dixie

[player_tooltip player_id='2148482' first='Collin' last='Simmons'], Dixie is projected to receive significant attention from four-year universities. His ability as a four-man is evident, excelling at both the small school and D2 levels. Simmons possesses the potential for significant growth and rapid development as he progresses to the next level.
