Westlake is no surprise, as they were the #1 team through the entire season despite a few losses. The caped it off with their first-ever State championship. [player_tooltip player_id='1476918' first='Graydin' last='Anderson'] and Brody Thompson had an big time performance as a duo. Bingham, who ended up being the runner-up, had a big-time run but ran out of gas as [player_tooltip player_id='3462123' first='Luke' last='West'] showed everyone why he is one of the best unsigned seniors in the state. American Fork on any given night could have made it all the way to the final, as [player_tooltip player_id='1439711' first='Bryce' last='Mella'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2089441' first='Jax' last='Clark'] might have been one of the best duos in the state. Mountain Ridge was probably the dark horse in the tournament, as they had an impressive run and performance from [player_tooltip player_id='3281425' first='Dylan' last='Hatton'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2450680' first='Jordan' last='Horsley']. Lehi had a few players step up, but Avery Tuk Howe was really good. Lone Peak has a bright future ahead as they will return [player_tooltip player_id='1724367' first='Saxon' last='Young'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1724365' first='Crew' last='Fotheringham']. Layton had a great run, and they will return [player_tooltip player_id='1724368' first='Karter' last='Miller'], who is one of the best scoring guards in the state. Davis got great production from [player_tooltip player_id='2539677' first='Cameron' last='Brower'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1278451' first='JT' last='Turley'], but just fell short enough to advance in the playoffs. Herriman had a great season, and they will send off [player_tooltip player_id='1278442' first='Carlo' last='Mulford'] as a Region Champion. Farmington might be one of the best teams returning next season. [player_tooltip player_id='2218132' first='Malakai' last='Tobler'] is talented.

Olympus does it again, capping off one of the best high school careers of all time, as [player_tooltip player_id='1278502' first='Gavin' last='Lowe'] heads home with the State Championship. Their only two losses this season came against Westlake and Bingham. Bountiful played in one of the toughest regions and came ready to play, getting great production from [player_tooltip player_id='2732870' first='Lincoln' last='Smith']. Highland had a loaded team led by players including [player_tooltip player_id='1598266' first='Jordan' last='Oberholtzer'], [player_tooltip player_id='1278450' first='Isaiah' last='Drisdom'], and Soren Reis. Timpview had a historic year, being ranked nationally at one point, but stumbled in the playoffs, though that doesn't diminish the year [player_tooltip player_id='1278448' first='Dean' last='Rueckert'] had. Wasatch was much better than they were given credit for, with many players to lean on, but [player_tooltip player_id='1786751' first='JJ' last='Serre'] is legit. Springville had a great year from [player_tooltip player_id='1278449' first='Mason' last='Hansen'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1278439' first='Jamyn' last='Sondrup']. Alta found ways to battle through adversity and got a big year from [player_tooltip player_id='1278438' first='Dash' last='Reiser'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2131820' first='Krew' last='Eckman']. Woods Cross was tough, and [player_tooltip player_id='2380893' first='Elliot' last='Bendinger'] is a big-time sleeper in the class of 2026. Orem was tough and will return a very motivated [player_tooltip player_id='1724358' first='Troy' last='Kaufusi']. Cyprus opened up a new school and gym with a solid season of 20 wins and a region championship. Koli Fosita was incredible.
