Dane figured out multiple ways to get by his man. He definitely was the best player on the floor for small stretches. Price utilized high screens perfectly. Price was able to get into the lane and routinely scored. Can he drive and kick expertly? Wonderful height for a high school guard. Chunn's weakness is lateral mobility as a perimeter defender. He must get better in this specific aspect. In his final game of the night Aidan lit a flame under himself and dominated for three straight possessions. Quickness is nice. Plays more like a point guard than 2-guard and did not give much as a rebounder. London's skills are primarily handle and driving. Gordon's lower body strength must improve to defend on the varsity level in 4a. It will. He is only now beginning high school. Effort was fine. Fitness ok. Screen technique was poor. That should be a quick fix with instruction. Large strides. As his handle improves, he will be able to get by guards with those strides serving as mild separation.
