He's a quality on-ball defender who can turn defense into offense in the blink of an eye.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2731683' first='Teagan' last='Hanson'] (GTRA): 18.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 3.7 steals</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hanson stuffs the stat sheet on both ends of the floor, showcasing his two-way ability on nearly every possession. A high IQ guard who can score from anywhere on the floor, he has great vision, handles it well, and is a menace on the defensive end.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2731640' first='Owen' last='Mills'] (Sioux Central): 16.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 2.1 steals</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A strong, talented 6-1 guard who plays with pace, sees the floor well, and finishes at the rim through contact with either hand, Mills led the Rebels in scoring, assists, and steals, and was second in rebounding last season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2028 Karson Welander (Pocahontas Area): 13.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.3 steals</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Welander was one of the most productive freshmen in the state last season, averaging nearly 14 points and getting his teammates involved. He's a smart, quick guard who can impact the game on both ends of the floor, and he should put up some pretty big numbers over the next three years.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2027 Abner Zaugg (West Bend-Mallard): 12.3 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.1 steals, 1.6 blocks</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A 6-4 forward, Zaugg had a really good sophomore year for the Wolverines, nearly averaging a double-double.
