It is time for our annual Top 50 Prospects Regardless of Class series. We have been doing this since the early years of PHI and it allows us to combine the sophomore, junior, and senior rankings to get an overall view of the talent in the state. Remember these are PROSPECT RANKINGS not necessarily what they will do this high school season. It is a long-term look! Here are prospects #31-#35!

#31 [player_tooltip player_id='1845350' first='Stephen' last='Brown'] (Marist – 2026)

Last Year's Ranking: #7

Brown is one of the premier dual sport athletes in the state as a top wide receiver recruit as well. He had a strong summer in June with his high school team as a bouncy and high energy four that was playing the most assertive we have seen in his career. He did a nice job of rebounding with his quickness on the glass along with being a rim protector. Like how well he runs the floor and is improving his handles.

#32 [player_tooltip player_id='2323283' first='Chris' last='Bolte'] (St. Ignatius – 2026)

Last Year's Ranking: NR

Bolte was one of the biggest 2026 stock risers from the summer as he had a monster couple weekends during the high school live weekends. Super productive left handed power forward that can stretch the floor with his shooting to out beyond the three point arc along with finishing off the glass and out of the dunker spot. Committed to Yale.

#33 [player_tooltip player_id='1554516' first='Christopher' last='Kirkpatrick'] (New Trier – 2026)

Last Year's Ranking: #24

Kirkpatrick is headed to the Ivy League at Princeton next season. The New Trier lead guard brings a spark to their team. He is a big time leader that elevates the play of those around him. Plus shooter from beyond the arc that is adequate at making shots both off the catch and creating on his own. Crisp passer making those around him better.

#34 [player_tooltip player_id='1501486' first='Ben' last='Akoro'] (O'Fallon – 2026)

Last Year's Ranking: #11

Akoro is a small forward from the metro east that sometimes flies a bit under the radar, but he brings a lot of tools that colleges look for at the next level. He has positional size and a rangy frame to add strength. Likes to work in the mid-range where he can pour in feathery jumpers. Improved his finishing game at the cup and is an outstanding distributor with his ability to set others up as a secondary playmaker.

#35 [player_tooltip player_id='2531970' first='Ben' last='Ojala'] (Evanston – 2028)

Last Year's Ranking: NR

Ojala is a lead guard who is among the best pure shooters in the state. He got quite a bit of experience on a good Wildkits squad as a freshman and now will be looked at as one of their go to players. Feathery shot both off the catch and pulling up from three. He is also a creative passer that makes sound reads and pushes in the open floor. Has a soft touch finishing game in the paint.
