Let's look at two more teams from the Long Island catholic school league. This report features Chaminade who have been a strong fixture in the league and state title picture for the last few years. We also look at St Mary's who look to get back to what they were in the early 2000s a dominant force not only in New York but also in the national landscape picture.

Chaminade will once again be in the title picture the whole year. They have a deep experienced roster. [player_tooltip player_id='2027760' first='Kyle' last='Dillon'] 2026 6”0 guard is a POY candidate. He is a three level scorer. Plus at the end of games with the ball in his hands he is really good sinking late free throws. Consistent scorer who is also very good at distributing the ball.

I'm expecting Kyle to get a lot of help from sharpshooting 6”0 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2027770' first='Mike' last='Wede']. He has improved his overall game each year. Shoots it really well from beyond the arc.

[player_tooltip player_id='2027765' first='Greg' last='Wycoff'] 2026 6”4 combines a really good skill set with good size. Hard worker on both ends of the floor.

A player who might be ready to break out is 6”3 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2234329' first='Diego' last='Dersch']. A fundamentally sound shooter of the ball. Has shown the ability to score at all three levels. Uses his length and athleticism to score in a variety of ways.

The Flyers will get a lift from two underclassma in 2027 6”1 Jake Elwood. A combo guard who has shown the ability to score in bunches . Very capable playmaker. Jake can guard multiple positions on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2882688' first='Lucas' last='Dillon'] 6”0 2028 will get big minutes at the PG position. Could possibly be the best playmaker on the roster. He can be a scoring point guard. Can score at all three levels. He has explosiveness getting to the rim.

As St Mary's tries to get back to being a force they will be helped with 2 incoming transfers. 6”2 2027 Hank Williams jr. Might have the deepest range on the Island. Has a quick release on his jumper either off the catch or in motion.
Mori Toney a 2028 6”3 pg skillset with good size. Excellent court vision and awareness. He has shown good leadership qualities at a young age, understands the importance of running the offense.
