We will be taking a look at some quick hitters, the top player(s), a potential breakout player, other roster members, and more for the upcoming season. Two guys who will be running things in the backcourt are [player_tooltip player_id='2622052' first='AJ' last='Jones'] and Ble'sed Thomas. Jones brings back over 5.0 points per game and is the only player on this roster with true varsity experience from last season. Thomas, meanwhile, has been one of the more underrated guards in the in-state 2027 class and transfers in from Arsenal Tech. Both players bring elite speed and playmaking ability to the backcourt for the Tigers, setting the tone for what could be an exciting season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Potential Breakout Player: [player_tooltip player_id='2470631' first='Octavius' last='Comer']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Nearly every player on the Attucks roster will have the chance to step into a big role this season, but one guy who could really take advantage of that opportunity is junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2470631' first='Octavius' last='Comer']. Comer is a leader at the guard position who plays with great shiftiness and a high motor on both ends of the floor. He's a solid jump shooter from 15 feet and beyond, while also displaying terrific court vision and control with the ball in his hands.
