When it comes to players poised to make an immediate impact, we've identified five freshmen who are expected to be sensations this season. Here's a look at the standouts to watch:

Player 1: [player_tooltip player_id='2809208' first='Xavier' last='Mulford'], Herriman 6A

Mulford has been a must-watch player heading into the high school season. He is poised to hit the ground running with his elite skill set, both on and off the ball, in shooting. He is a constantly moving guard who can get hot quickly and does not think he will pass up on shots like most freshmen. Mulford is ready to make an impact now.

Player 2: [player_tooltip player_id='2809197' first='Ty' last='Kozlowski'], Corner Canyon 6A

Kozlowski might be a name you already know, but get ready to know him even better. [player_tooltip player_id='2809197' first='Ty' last='Kozlowski'], the younger brother of BYU guard Brody Kozlowski, is bringing his own unique style to the court. He possesses a strong handle and a relentless downhill attacking style. As a freshman, he's poised to make an immediate impact, and his performance could very well foreshadow the future of Corner Canyon basketball.Kozlowski is the next name you need to get to know that you already knew. Ty is the younger brother of BYU guard Brody Kozlowski, and Ty is bringing his own game to the table. Kozlowski will bring a strong handle to the table and a downhill attack. He is ready to make an impact as a freshman, and if he gets the chance, you might get a glimpse of the future at Corner Canyon.

Player 3: [player_tooltip player_id='2809201' first='Cooper' last='Anderson'], Brighton 5A

Anderson has certainly put on some growth since the summer, now standing over 6'0. He is looking to build his confidence at Brighton and learn from the older players on the team so that he can make an impact when his name is called. Anderson has shown flashes of brilliance from beyond the arc, and if he can continue to develop his movement and overall skill set, he has the potential to be a standout player for Brighton.

Player 4: [player_tooltip player_id='2839861' first='Miles' last='Saucedo'], Weber 5A

Saucedo projects to be an immediate contributor for Weber, showcasing a knack for scoring with his catch-and-shoot ability. His presence could be crucial as the program aims to compete within the competitive Region 1.

Player 5: [player_tooltip player_id='2809191' first='Brayden' last='James'], Bingham 6A

[player_tooltip player_id='2809191' first='Brayden' last='James'] is rapidly developing into a force to be reckoned with. His increasing height and strength are evident in his explosive drives to the basket. James's ability to catch, create separation, and finish strongly showcases his growing athleticism. As he continues to build upon his physical advantages and hone his confidence, his contributions to the team are poised to skyrocket.
