Despite his size, he lived in the paint as he constantly got by defenders. There has been a lot of talk around the Minor program and the chances they have for a deep playoff run, and a lot of people look at Cornellious and his ability to orchestrate the offense and keep it fluid as a major key. He has a fearless mentality and will be a force to contend with for most PGs who will face him this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2610198' first='Conner' last='Powers'] (5'8/PG/'27/OPP)

IG: Connerpowers2027

X: @connerpowers33

Conner is a small lead guard who did a good job creating and distributing the rock. He made some really good reads and showed his passing skills, as he often got into the paint and sprayed to open shooters around the perimeter. He also showed his ability to knock down the three-ball in catch-and-shoot situations. He is a heady lead guard who showed toughness on both ends of the floor. He also demonstrated a really good quality for lead guards as he was very vocal throughout the day.

[player_tooltip player_id='2978409' first='Dalton' last='Lowery'] (5'7/PG/'29/Red Bay)

IG: dalton_goescrazy

Dalton is a small lead guard who showed himself to be ready for his freshman year. He is a tough cover in the open court, plays with energy and effort, and was always looking to attack and put pressure on the defense. He really thrived in transition, whether filling the lanes for off-ball runouts or handling the ball himself and getting to the paint, where he made good decisions with the rock. He is a young talent who impressed with his floor game and is a prospect to keep an eye on this year to see how he impacts the Red Bay squad.

[player_tooltip player_id='2839459' first='Zyonte' last='Hubbard'] (6'3/CG/'27/Oak Grove)

IG: Showtime_zy5

X: @ZyonteHubbard

This was my first time seeing Zyonte, and he did not disappoint, as he has a very potent scoring arsenal. He was aggressive from the moment he stepped onto the floor, and he did not take his foot off the pedal. He is a multi-level scorer who was tough to contain, particularly off the bounce. He showed his ability to create his own shot, which is where he stood out; he can set the table for others and knock down an open look. He can play either guard spot and showed to be a solid defender.

Christion Glenn (5'9/PG/'28/Huffman High School)

IG: @bxndzhuncho

Criston is a small lead guard who did a good job attacking off the bounce and putting pressure on the rim. He showed that he can get his own shot as a primary ball-handler, be a capable spot-up shooter off the ball, and balance between facilitating and scoring. He made good things happen when the defense wasn't set, as he pushed the tempo and got into the paint and to the rim often. The Vikings lost a significant amount of perimeter production, and Criston appears ready to step in and fill a role.

[player_tooltip player_id='2610210' first='Johnny' last='Towry'] (6'7/F|C/'27/Vestavia Hills)

IG: johnnytowry

X: @JohnnyTowry9236

Johnny has been on a steady rise since last year, and he continues to expand his game beyond the paint. He has already solidified himself as an interior presence who looks to dominate on each possession on both ends of the floor. He has added a jump hook to his arsenal, which is really hard to contest. He has added a consistent three-pointer to his scoring arsenal, and he shoots it very well from deep. I am looking for Johnny to be a leader who carries the Rebels this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2748297' first='Kobe' last='Brothers'] (6'3/SG/'28/Guntersville)

IG: Kobebrothers2028

X: @Kobebrothers3

Kobe came in known as a perimeter threat, as he is lethal from behind the arc. He showed his specialty throughout the day as he had to be accounted for whenever he was on the floor. He showed his willingness to go to the glass and be an active rebounder. He has to continue to work on his on-ball defense as he continues to be a player that many consider a top player in the 2028 class.

The Prep Hoops Alabama Expo was loaded with talent, and Team 8 certainly brought their share of standouts. Here is a closer look at each player and what they showed throughout the day...
