Few players in the Central Texas area have evolved more completely than Jinkal. His jumper remains pure, but the difference now is control; his handle allows him to dictate pace and attack gaps with confidence. He's comfortable absorbing contact, finishing through traffic, and rebounding at a guard level. Defensively, he anticipates well and communicates like a seasoned veteran. St. Michael's is loaded, but Jinkal is ready to be its unquestioned alpha.

It's clear Buchunam put in real offseason work. His motor was undeniable, flying around for loose balls, rotating defensively, and finishing with either hand. His improved three-ball and mid-range touch now complement a strong interior presence. What stands out most isn't skill, it's his effort. He plays with purpose on every possession and looks ready for a breakout junior campaign.

Tough. That's the first word that comes to mind watching Gumbert-Mendoza. He doesn't flinch, whether facing length or speed. His strength allows him to attack bigger defenders, while his craft and footwork let him outmaneuver quicker guards. He's a balanced scorer with a reliable perimeter shot but thrives on getting downhill and making plays for teammates. Wimberley runs on his energy and confidence.

Barkley's game has aged like a fine wine. The jumper has always been pure, but now his reads are sharper, his frame stronger, and his leadership quieter but unmistakable. He makes the right play, whether it's an extra pass or a deep three. St. Edward's picked up a player who understands how to win—and how to make others better in the process.

Davis is a technician at the point guard spot. His change-of-pace and stop-start burst are elite, and his mid-range jumper is as reliable as it is smooth. He plays both ends of the floor with command—locking up opposing guards one possession, orchestrating offense the next. When Del Valle needs stability or scoring, Davis provides both. His leadership presence is already college-ready.
