2029 Prospect Rankings Update: More New Names to Know

Cherry needs depth and after Max had a strong JV season last season playing with a relentless effort. He will move into a varsity role as a fierce attacking competitor. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='3036326' first='Ty' last='Grinsteiner'] of Badger/Greenbush-Middle River. Ty was the starting point guard last year for much of his 8th grade year (save when he was hurt). A very good distributor and floor leader as a young age. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Bennett Herrmann of Lester Prairie. Bennett started last season as an 8th grader last year averaging four points and four boards and he will step into a main role this year. Bennett is a very good athlete that attacks the basket with consistency. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2386780' first='Brekken' last='Koenigs'] of Southland. Brekken played a bit of varsity last year on one of the best teams in Class A basketball. Koenigs is really good in attack, has excellent ball handling skills and is a good shooter. Will have a much bigger role this winter. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2813970' first='Jacob' last='Lester'] of Nevis. Lester should move into a supporting varsity role as a 6'4 big man. Nevis has talent so Lester will have time to grow, but also time to learn from a very good big in Bessler. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='3036330' first='Adrian' last='Nelson'] of Badger/Greenbush-Middle River. Nelson was a varsity player as a 7th grader and then was scoring 13 a game before he got hurt. Nelson is a good shooter and a hard working attack player. Big season is expected for Nelson. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='3036310' first='Jake' last='Schauer'] of Lester Prairie. Jake is the brother of Trever who had a great career at Lester, Jake led the JV in scoring a season ago and will now move into a varsity role for a consistent program. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2848334' first='Mac' last='Voth'] of Lake Park-Audobon. Mac is an athletic wing that played varsity the second half of last season and will be a key part of the rotation this season. Also a good football player for the school. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
