The latest update to the 2027 Tennessee player rankings was just released last week. The 2025 season is right around the corner. Now, the question is: Which junior will have a productive season?

I have a handful in mind as the 2025 season approaches.

[player_tooltip player_id='2575799' first='Walker' last='Redding'], Cookeville: Redding has all of the tools to have a successful junior season. He's a 6-foot-7 small forward that can make shots from the perimeter. Redding can put the basketball on the floor and finish at the rim. He's effective at both wing positions. At the high school level, Redding can play at power forward and be a mismatch problem. This could be a big year for Redding.

[player_tooltip player_id='2290394' first='Lincoln' last='Vinson'], Tennessee Collegiate Academy: Vinson is new to the state, but he turned heads over the spring and summer for [program_tooltip program_id='2078772' first='Team' last='Thad'] 16U with his scoring ability. Vinson can make shots from the perimeter. He's a small guard with enough athleticism and bounce to get his head above the rim. The season has yet to start, but Vinson is one of the best guards in the 2027 class. More will see his offensive talent this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2684683' first='Samuel' last='Plourde'], Beech: Plourde is going to play a key piece for the Buccaneers' potential deep postseason run. The 6-5 wing is going to help fellow seniors [player_tooltip player_id='2439013' first='Cutter' last='Sisk'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2869668' first='Cole' last='Winters'] on the offensive end. Plourde can make shots from the perimeter. He's a reliable ball handler. Plourde isn't afraid to get in the paint and get rebounds. Plourde could be an all-district player in 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='2236492' first='Kobi' last='Jackson'], Independence: Jackson has more-than-enough talent to be the best guard in Class 4A District 10. First of all, the 5-10 point guard is smooth, crafty, and smart. He sees the floor well. Jackson can make passes into tight windows. He's twitchy, which makes him hard to stay in front of. Jackson can get to his spots. He can make a high percentage of his shots from the perimeter. People shouldn't sleep on Jackson as a potential all-district and all-region player in 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='2283267' first='Elijah' last='Lowe']: Fayette Ware: Lowe knows the standard of being a Wildcat. He's played in meaningful games in the first two years of his high school career. Lowe has been a part of a Fayette Ware program that has played in the Class 3A Boys' state tournament in the past two seasons. He will look to make it three consecutive seasons the Wildcats are in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Lowe will need to be the pest he's capable of being on defense. He will need to score at an efficient rate. Lowe will need to impose his will at the rim on smaller defenders. When his number is called, Lowe will need to be Fayette Ware's best player. In other words, Lowe will need to have an all-district type of season.
