The Defending State Champions have as good a shot as any to have a legit chance at repeating as 6A State Champions as any have in the past. With a strong core of players coming back and some new additions, look for the Darts to make some noise this season once again.

Elite Guards Returning

[player_tooltip player_id='1278451' first='JT' last='Turley'] is entering his senior year, and as a junior, he averaged 12 PPG, 2RPG, and almost 4APG. This grassroots season, he was largely under the radar, but he possesses the skill set to play at a very high level. Turley could be a 15 PPG player this coming season, and if he continues to play the right way, it would not be crazy for him to average 5 assists per game.

Alongside Turley, you will see one of the best two-sport athletes in the state in [player_tooltip player_id='1611276' first='Bode' last='Sparrow']. Sparrow is a dynamic guard that has strength, IQ, and a skill set to play in the perimeter as well as attack the rim. With Sparrow's ability to get inside the paint, he is going to be among the best creators in all of 6A. Sparrow is a player who will find a way to contribute when he is not scoring the ball.

Versatile Forwards

[player_tooltip player_id='2347358' first='Tradon' last='Bessinger'] is one of those elite forwards who just see the floor well. That helps him track rebounds down, and he is such a good passer. There is no reason he can't average more than 5 rebounds and 5 assists this coming season, the way he plays. He is a winner and a player you need to win those gritty games that are really close.

Welcome to the Darts [player_tooltip player_id='2539677' first='Cameron' last='Brower']. This kid is a do-it-all all-wing that will start to get a lot more college looks as he is a kid with size on the wing that can shoot. If he can duplicate what he did last season, this Davis team is going to be tough to beat.

Overview

With Davis graduating, 4 seniors look for a few players that did not play a lot last season to make an impact this coming season. The Darts should start the season 4-0 before they host Bingha. Last season, that game was intense, and it was a back-and-forth battle. This year, you can expect the same from that math cup that could go either way. They will be competing with Layton for region bragging rights.
