Section 2AA has a nice handful of senior stars that are going to have outstanding senior seasons. Which one has the team to get their team to state?

Super Summary

[player_tooltip player_id='2121332' first='Deron' last='Russell'] is back for Waseca but he will be without three key starters from last year. [player_tooltip player_id='2118474' first='Ethan' last='Martin'] is back for Belle Plaine but his starting line-up also lost three starters. Waseca and Belle Plaine are going to be very good but there will be nights that they have to rely on Deron and Ethan respectively for some huge totals. Don't be surprised when you see either of those two win games with some monster numbers. They will need guys to step up around them for a section title.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560769' first='Ethan' last='Sonju'] is back for GSL and [player_tooltip player_id='2912515' first='Will' last='Bromeland'] is back for Blue Earth. Both are going to have some huge scoring nights this winter and their teams are going to be good. What separates them a bit from Russell and Martin is that Sonju has [player_tooltip player_id='2423114' first='Lincoln' last='Busse'] and Bromeland has [player_tooltip player_id='2391636' first='Sully' last='Dahlberg'], and each of those players is capable of scoring near 20 a game as well. Both of those teams will be good.

Obviously there are going to be really good teams that may not have to rely on one or two guys as much as some others. When it comes to those groups I would look at Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial, Maple River and Minnesota Valley Lutheran. All three of those teams have good players but I think the upcoming young talent mixed with veterans will gives those rosters a chance at a deeper team.

All in all, this is a section that is wide open with talent and great coaching. I think it will be one of the best section races of the season.
