LONG BEACH — The annual Ron Massey Memorial Fall Hoops Classic is one of the must-attend events of the fall and this year's kick-off event brought together some of SoCal's top high school programs and players Saturday at McBride high school. Below we take a closer look at some new wings, forwards and centers who emerged as prospects to track.

[player_tooltip player_id='2916734' first='Cayman' last='Martin'] | 2027 | Crespi

Martin is an energy, effort and hustle type of forward who thrives in his role as a dirty work guy. At 6-feet-5, Martin brings a seemingly unlimited motor which allows him to play extended glue-guy minutes. Martin is a rebounder in and out of his area, works hard to defend multiple positions and is an effective rim runner and finisher around the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='2888832' first='Jacob' last='Sears'] | 2026 | Santa Margarita

Sears looks to be stepping into an important role for the Eagles as he heads into his senior season. The 6-foot-4 wing has the ability to make open catch and shoot threes, handles and moves on the perimeter like a guard and flashed some feel and basketball IQ as a secondary playmaker in the open court.

Jude Adelsbach | 2027 | Brentwood

Adelsbach is a skilled stretch-four type prospect whose 6-foot-7 frame, combined with his fluid shooting mechanics, made him an effective three-point shooter off the catch. The junior will be an important piece to the Brentwood offense this season as his ability to stretch the defense will balance the inside scoring attack that his teammates, [player_tooltip player_id='2746603' first='Shalen' last='Sheppard'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2750218' first='Ethan' last='Hill'], bring to the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2364528' first='Luke' last='Mirhashemi'] | 2026 | Corona del Mar

Mirhashemi is an interesting wing/forward prospect due to his versatility. At 6-feet-5, the left-handed senior has the ball skills and basketball IQ to act in a point forward role where he initiates and creates offense but he can also slide off of it and impact the game as a slasher, finisher and offensive rebounder where he generates second chance opportunities.

Temi Olafisoye | 2026 | Chaminade

Olafisoye has really slimmed down his body which has greatly improved his motor, vertical athleticism and ability to give effort for extended minutes. When you add his improved conditioning into his 6-foot-7 frame with the ability to score physically and with finesse around the basket, you come away with an intriguing big man prospect.

Troy Arthon | 2027 | Chaminade

Arthon has intriguing positional size which is highlighted by his ability to consistently knock down the three ball off the catch. The junior has a long 6-foot-7 frame and his shooting mechanics are of the textbook variety. Arthon isn't just a catch-and-shoot guy, either, as he showed the ability to fill lanes and score in transition, as well.
