The Prep Hoops Next Middle School Camp was held this past weekend. Here is a look at the standouts from Team 1!

[player_tooltip player_id='2900681' first='Grayson' last='Snider'] Geneva 2030

Grayson is an active forward who played well in pick-and-roll situations. He kept the ball high on the catch and scored multiple times with ease. Snider put in a ton of effort and got after it on the glass.

[player_tooltip player_id='2969046' first='Joaquin' last='Punzalan'] Lincoln Hall 2030

Punzalan is a small point guard who excelled at shooting the ball. He made several threes in catch-and-shoot situations. As the lead guard he made sound decisions with the ball. Joaquin can fit into tight areas with his handle and has his eyes up at all times to make a play.

[player_tooltip player_id='2967740' first='Jordan' last='Fabian'] Aux Sable 2030

Jordan was one of the standouts from the event. He controlled every aspect of the game from the PG spot. He scored and facilitated the ball well to teammates. He drove to the basket several times beating the defenders with simple combinations. He finished through contact forcing some fouls to get to the free-throw line. Fabian has a high IQ for a middle school player and that showed with how easily he commanded the game.

Corbin Staples Wilmont Elementary 2031

Staples lit it up from three. He's a smaller guard from Wisconsin who played off the ball mostly. He has quick release on the shot and can get it off while defenders run at him. Corbin did have a few drives in the lane where he dished it out to the perimeter to his teammates for threes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2967006' first='Kameron' last='Crump'] Chaney Monge 2030

Crump is a talented scoring guard who finished well in transition and was effective when slashing to the basket while playing off the ball. Kameron knocked down a three when left open. On D he is a solid on-ball defender who forced a couple of turnovers and wasn't afraid to get into the mix on that end.

[player_tooltip player_id='2964309' first='Nolan' last='Luz'] Kennedy MS 2030

Luz made a couple of layups in the first game. Guarded multiple players with toughness and got his hands on a couple of loose balls that he out-hustled the opposing team for. Nolan was more of a glue guy for Team 1.
