<p class="text-gray-700">The ultimate all around glue guy with an elite defensive impact across positions, an unselfish mentality, fluid scoring within the flow, and amazing leadership that made him standout as a the best communicator in the gym. [player_tooltip player_id='2926233' first='Jacob' last='Richard'] showed the ability to defend any type of guard whether they're a creative scorer, pure shooter, or downhill threat. He didn't force offense but consistently put himself in the right spots, whether spacing, slipping into gaps, or rotating on defense. Defensively, he was switchable even as a freshman. His length and mobility allowed him to hedge and recover in ball-screen coverage, slide with wings, and rotate to the rim as a secondary shot blocker. He brought a high motor on the glass, often keeping possessions alive with tip-outs or ripping down rebounds in traffic. Richard displays natural floor general skills that make him versatile on the wing with point forward potential if he continues to grow.</p>

He consistently balanced looking for his own offense with facilitating for others, embodying the traits of a steady yet dangerous lead guard.</p>
