Prep Hoops Expo: Prospects Who Impressed

The Prep Hoops Arizona Expo featured a strong group of players from across the state, each looking to prove themselves and showcase their game. Here are some of the standouts from the event.    He put together one of the more complete performances at the expo, playing with confidence on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he shot the three ball well, knocking down perimeter looks with consistency, and showed the ability to attack downhill and finish through contact at the rim. Defensively, he competed and guarded with energy, taking pride in making things difficult for his match-up. What stood out most was his poise — he never looked rushed and seemed to be in control no matter the situation. Whether it was hitting shots, getting to the rim, or locking in on defense, he made an impact in every area and really had one of the stronger showings of the event.       He showed he can impact the game in a variety of ways at the expo. On the ball, he created his own offense with confidence — attacking off the dribble, using the spin to create space, and finishing plays above the rim with athleticism. Just as impressive was how well he played off the ball, staying active, cutting into open lanes, and making himself available as a scoring threat. His ability to slash, finish through traffic, and move without the ball made him tough to contain. Every time he was on the floor, he kept the defense on edge with his activity and explosiveness.     He brought a complete motor every time he stepped on the floor, setting the tone with his energy and activity. On the glass, he rebounded the ball well on both ends, extending possessions and giving his team second-chance opportunities. After securing boards, he wasted no time pushing the ball himself, attacking off the dribble and putting pressure on the defense in transition. Once he got downhill, he finished strong at the rim, showing toughness and the ability to score through contact.      He put together an MVP-level performance with the way he controlled the game on both ends of the floor.
