Smith is a name to get to know as he showcased his ball handling ability along with his court vision and skills to finish at the rim. He was comfortable at the showcase and proved that he is a top talent in the state. He was able to get downhill easily using hesitations and head fakes to trick defenders and finish at the rim. He also showed that he is a true PG setting up teammates during the showcase. Smith is poised to lead Simsboro this season and just may be the reason they can make it back down south for another State Championship run.

White was the most impressive player in the gym and is a well-known prospect around the state. He is an all-around player that plays the game with poise and pace. He cannot be stopped when he is aggressive, and his game is elite. He is the player that coaches and spectators were most impressed with and he does everything with ease. He could play on or off the ball at the next level and he will play College Basketball. He is an elite mid-range shooter with a nice stroke, and when he decides to let the three-ball fly, watch out. Coaches looking for a Combo Guard with PG skills need to lock in with White.

Brooks made a big name for himself this summer during AAU and Summer League due to his aggressive style of play and relentless motor. He showed that he is a defensive pest at the showcase along with his ability to handle the ball and control pace. He is equally impressive on both sides of the ball and seems to get better every time I watch him compete. He will be a solid role player for Captain Shreve as an underclassman and will surely break into the 2028 rankings.

Joe is a player that works on his game, and the improvement is visible. He has moved to a new school, and the new opportunity could prove to be the early chance to showcase his skill that he needs. Metoyer is a young talent with tons of upside. He can handle the ball, shoot the ball and is an elite facilitator. He will be a big piece for Loyola as they look to gain relevance in the deep North La Hoop Scene. He is built for the pressure that comes and will be one to watch in the 2028 class.

Thomas was impressive at the showcase continuing to show that he has worked on his game. He is an all-around player and athlete that is ready to step into a bigger role at Tioga. He has put in the work, and he has the size to match his skill on the court. He will surely be a big piece for Tioga this upcoming season and it will be interesting to see how the offense utilizes his skills. His showcase performance was truly noteworthy, and he is one to watch.
