Saturday, September 6th Prep Hoops Arizona had the annual EXPO Showcase which was hosted at Chaparral HS in Scottsdale, AZ. We had right around 32 players from the 2026-2028 classes who were competing in a few games of 3 on 3 followed by the regular 5 on 5 setting.

This article is not a prospect ranking but how productive they were at the camp. (This is a combination of what I viewed with the two different settings.)

Here is the 1st Team

[player_tooltip player_id='2396374' first='Levi' last='Carter'] Willow Canyon

A point guard who had a good scoring day. He is super crafty and quick to get into the teeth of the defense and goes slow to fast with his tight handle in heavy traffic. He slithers in the lane and will crossover his man and throw a perfect dime. He will find players up the court and is very patient and smart.

[player_tooltip player_id='1965090' first='Brosnen' last='Gilmore'] Green Valley/NV (Pictured)

A Las Vegas product came to Scottsdale and showed out. He is very skilled and plays with a little edge and toughness. He will score it with off the dribble mid-range jumpers, threes off the catch and floaters. He had one incredible move that had people in the stands impressed. He crossed over his man, spun off of him and then dimed a teammate. He also showed fight on the ball defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='2133646' first='Myles' last='Godfrey'] Cactus Shadows

The MVP of this years EXPO was Godfrey. He had the tightest handle at the camp and changes speeds better then anyone to get to nearly any spot on the floor he wants. He has a nasty in and out dribble to get downhill and will score with floaters, mid-range pull-ups and threes. He has ball fakes and finds cutters perfectly in stride. His defense was top notch as well, making it difficult to score on him.

[player_tooltip player_id='2552787' first='Landen' last='Martineau'] Casteel

Another top of the food chain point guard. He uses quick bursts with an impressive first step to get to the basket. You don't know whether he is going to lay it in with either hand or throw a next level pass. He has advanced body control in the lane and he is always very calm under duress.

[player_tooltip player_id='2107084' first='Adam' last='Medina'] Gilbert

A strong power forward showed his full bag on Saturday. He will hit the three off the catch, fall away from his defender and get downhill with either hand. He has good hands and feet to catch tough passes in the lane. He is a good passer up the court, which is a very underrated skill for him and will even throw it down with a runaway.

[player_tooltip player_id='2297437' first='Dylan' last='Vargas'] San Tan Charter

One of the most athletic power forwards at the camp. He had a couple ridiculous dunks including a legit poster dunk. He will score with quick spin moves to the basket off the dribble and perimeter jumpers. He gobbles up rebounds and will block a shot. He runs the floor well and he will be a big boost for San Tan this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2625965' first='Kaii' last='Voogd'] AZ Compass Prep

A scoring guard who can fill it up quickly. He scored maybe the most points at the showcase with pull-ups from mid-range, catch threes with deep range, above the rim dunks in style and athletic drives to the rim. He is a sneaky good passer and can defend multiple positions.
