The Rucker on Wood 2029 class commenced the event with impressive physical play from several promising prospects. In this article, I'll highlight five prospects who particularly caught my attention during the event.    Jaeden Daniels, a freshman guard at the Rucker on Wood, stood out as one of the most polished players on the court. Offensively, he demonstrated exceptional ball-handling skills, making precise reads and consistently finding his spots on all three levels. His advanced skills as a freshman make him a promising prospect for the future. Considering his time at Fort Bend Travis High School, I have no doubt that his game will continue to evolve and improve.     Julius Ogunfuye, a 6'4” freshman, showcased his exceptional shooting ability from various areas of the court. His physical frame allows him to shoot over defenders when pulling up for jumpers. Beyond his shooting prowess, he demonstrates versatility by driving to the basket, making him a formidable threat on both ends of the floor. Julius's defensive activity is evident as he covers ground effectively against opposing players. As he progresses through his high school career, Julius has the potential to become even more formidable.     Karmelo Rugley, a 6'6” forward with a powerful motor on both ends of the court, showcased his offensive prowess. He demonstrated his ability to rebound multiple times for second-chance opportunities, run the floor effectively and finishing in transition going coast-to-coast at a respectable rate. On the defensive end, he protected the rim by blocking shots, engaging in physical play for rebounds, and maintaining consistency. It wouldn't surprise me to see Karmelo's name more frequently throughout his high school career.     Logan Jolivette, a prospect I had the privilege of evaluating not too long ago, showcased his skills even further during Rucker on Wood. He consistently posed a threat downhill, displaying exceptional body control and making plays for his teammates through his passing ability. Additionally, he effectively controlled the offensive flow for his team. Defensively, his energy was exceptional, applying pressure on opposing ball handlers and sometimes forcing turnovers. With further development, Jolivette has the potential to become a formidable guard in the future.     Christian Alfred, a formidable player at the Rucker On Wood, demonstrated exceptional aggression and effectiveness throughout the event. With the ball in his possession, he remained on the offensive front, displaying unwavering determination even in the face of contact. His driving style primarily involved placing the ball on the floor in the half-court, particularly from the perimeter. His imposing 6'5” frame made him a highly impactful player overall.
