The 6'7" shooting guard, part of the 2026 class, arrives with sharpened tools, length, shot-making versatility, and defensive instincts honed against elite competition. Chronister's blend of size and perimeter skill gives him immediate star potential, and his experience on a national stage could elevate the tempo, toughness, and expectations across the Arkansas high school landscape.

[player_tooltip player_id='2021873' first='Jacob' last='Lanier']'s basketball path makes his return to Arkansas all the more intriguing. After flashing promise at Maumelle High School, the 2026 guard took his talents to DME Academy in Florida, sharpening his game against national-level competition and adding layers to his scoring package. Now back in-state with the Parkview Patriots, Lanier brings a blend of confidence, creativity, and battle-tested poise to a program known for embracing big moments. His ability to create off the bounce, stretch defenses, and lead with edge makes him a potential game-changer in the 6A landscape. For Parkview, it's not just a reunion; it's a much-needed reload.

When a team is chasing back-to-back 5A state titles, every roster move matters and landing [player_tooltip player_id='2932223' first='Sahir' last='Ghant'] might be the most pivotal yet. Transferring in from Texas, the 6'5" senior wing brings a blend of size, maturity, and experience to a hungry squad. His ability to control the ball, attack the rim, and finish through contact instantly raises the team's floor—and his voice in the huddle could be the steadying force that keeps them focused through the grind of a repeat campaign.

At just a rising freshman, [player_tooltip player_id='2932171' first='Paris' last='London III']'s move from Memphis to Fayetteville already feels like a long-term investment. Standing 6'5" with point guard instincts, he brings a combo of size and playmaking upside to the 2029 class. But it's the intangibles his court vision, and willingness to lead that suggest he could be a foundational piece for years to come. If his development stays on track, Fayetteville may have just landed the centerpiece of their future.

In-state school transfers - [player_tooltip player_id='2616716' first='Easton' last='Boggs'] (transfer from Alma), KD Hicks(transfer from LRCA), [player_tooltip player_id='2422333' first='Brian' last='Cal Jr.'] (transfer from White Hall), Mar Lee (transfer from Har-Ber), [player_tooltip player_id='2021907' first='Jaxson' last='Keeling'] (transfer from Mulberry)

After a breakout summer marked by improved shot mechanics and confidence from deep, [player_tooltip player_id='2616716' first='Easton' last='Boggs'] will step into a key role at Little Rock Christian. His ability to space the floor as a 6'7" wing/forward adds a new dimension to a team already eyeing a run at the 5A state title. Boggs doesn't just stretch defenses—he opens driving lanes, balances lineups, and forces opponents to guard all five spots. With his size, shooting touch, and growing defensive versatility, Boggs could be the X-factor that helps LRCA soar atop the 5A mountain.

KD Hicks brings a gritty, do-what-it-takes mentality to the defending 6A state champion Bryant Hornets, a team already stacked with its two featured returners. After transferring from Little Rock Christian, Hicks slots in as a tone-setting guard who thrives in chaos: diving for loose balls, making timely stops, and hitting timely shots when the moment calls. His ability to toggle between playmaker and defensive disruptor gives Bryant a backcourt edge that's harder to contain.

One of the most prolific young offensive talents in Arkansas, [player_tooltip player_id='2422333' first='Brian' last='Cal Jr.'] makes the jump from White Hall to Benton, where he'll be tasked with leading a youthful but explosive guard core. Cal's blend of scoring instincts, court vision, and tempo control makes him the ideal table-setter for a Panthers squad looking to build around pace and playmaking. A smooth-scoring guard with a knack for creating offense off the bounce, he brings shot-making and a competitive edge to a team looking to reload and contend. His ability to adapt, defend multiple positions, and play within Bentonville's system could be the glue that helps them stay in the mix in a deep 6A field.

After pacing Mulberry's offense in 1A, [player_tooltip player_id='2021907' first='Jaxson' last='Keeling'] makes the jump to 2A ball with Mountainburg. He brings with him a steady hand, sharpshooting, and a smooth feel for the game. Keeling isn't too flashy, but he's efficient: controlling tempo, limiting mistakes, and making the right play possession after possession. His ability to manage pace and keep teammates involved will be key for a Mountainburg squad looking to climb the 2A ranks. I expect Keeling to be an effective guard who quietly raises the floor and sharpens the team's identity.
