Expert Analysis
Victor Scott | Prep Hoops Scout
Boggs brings one of the cleanest shooting profiles in the class, and his size only amplifies the value. At 6’7″, he gets into his mechanics smoothly, shoots over contests, and forces defenses to stretch farther than they want to. Whether it’s spotting up, relocating, or knocking down rhythm threes in transition, Boggs changes the game the moment he checks in. Add in his length and the confidence he shoots it with, and you get a prospect whose shooting translates at every level.

He has become a much-improved defender, changing from an off-ball high IQ help side guy into a perimeter defender who forces guards to beat him from deep, not allowing drives to get past him. His shooting skills have always been sharp, now showing more confidence in his decision-making and his ability to shoot tough shots over defenders accurately.

Boggs is a lengthy stretch shooter that can play in the paint or along the arc. He has tools for 3 level scoring with a smooth jumper from mid and beyond and some finesse post play where he can face-up, shoot from the post, or back down. He is also a talented passer with his height that gives him great vision to see the full court. He will be a big piece of the offense for this team no question.
